I took the tour in Larnaca with the guide Maria and it was such a fun experience. We visited places that I never would have thought of by myself. Lots of family owned factories, and tasted traditional food.

Our host Georgina, was incredibly knowledgeable and warm. She escorted us through a whirlwind of food tasting and showed us how each was made: halloumi; sousoukos; wine tasting; honey tasting; donkey milk products and olive oil. I particularly enjoyed feeding the donkeys!

My mum and I recently did the halloumi taste tour. It was such a fun and interesting day - you have the opportunity to get really stuck in and try new things. Maria was our guide and she was brilliant. She was knowledgeable on all the activities, processes and overall environment - with lots of fun facts. She was also super chatty, friendly and outgoing - it was an absolute pleasure to have her as our guide. I would definitely recommend this day out to anyone :)

An excellent value for money trip. From the day previous when Cyprus Taste tours emailed with pick up times, collection at my pick up point was almost to the minute with a friendly welcome. Only six guests in the group and then a full day with a very knowledgeable guide Georgina who is fluent in Greek and English. The halloumi making was carried out in a traditional way and our small party were able to join in from start to finish. Georgina made sure everyone was involved. The brunch was traditional with plenty for everyone. We then went on to various other visits including an olive oil farm, an apiary, and the Donkey Sanctuary which is far more than just a sanctuary! Trust me - worth the visit! Georgina drove us through some old traditional villages and we stopped at one for some time to walk and take it all in. Georgina also gave us the option of staying with her for a guided tour or to walk about on our own. My pick up was at 08.45 and I did not return until 17.45 so a very full day. I was also glad of the advice given regarding warm clothing as my visit was in December and the Trodos villages are much colder than the coastal areas. You definitely benefited from jumpers and jackets. All in all, a really good day out!

Our guide took our small group (just 3 of us) on a fun and informative tour. We enjoyed our time making Halloumi, where we were involved in nearly all of the steps. We enjoyed the Halloumi we made (and other local foods) and chatted with some locals who were there to buy Halloumi. We made a number of other stops, each of which gave us insight into the history and culture of Cyprus.

Myra was our guide and was amazing. I thoroughly Recommend the tour for anyone wanting to gat hands on rather than just watching. Olympia at the halloumi making was lovely.

This tour was truly amazing!!!!! Best one from Paphos for sure! Our tour guide Christina took us to such lovely, real and authentic places. Places that carry real story and value. She is wonderful! This day was definitely one of my favourite days in Cyprus. And the halloumi making was beautiful - beautiful welcoming family that shared their love for the craft with us. It smelled like heaven there. Words cannot express how wholesome and beautiful and fulfilling this experience was. Thank You!

We had myra for our tour Such a lovely knowledgeable lady, we could not of asked for a better guide. Learning about the island, its food and drink ,the trees and fauna as we went to our destinations. Cheese making was lovely experience, so memorable and lovely to be part of. The food put on was beautifully home made and was lovely to feel so made at home. We then visited with iconographer for home made teas, biscuits and jams as she explained her extraordinary skill at painting. Then to local monastery with stunning views and architecture. We had a wine tasting next as extra to our tour. With four samples for 7 euros was exceptional good value. Lastly we visited Rosa for cyprus coffee and sweets and seen how she prepares bread and food for the village, before being returned back to villa. A highly recommended experience.
