Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! A local team of true foodies - our small group activities (max 6-7 participants) focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine...

There's nothing like tasting fresh, warm hallloumi cheese straight out of the pot and on this small group excursion there'll be plenty to enjoy throughout the day! During this unique activity you'll have the opportunity to make 2 kinds of Cypriot cheeses alongside a local family. The workshop ends with a tasting of the cheeses plus a delicious brunch!

We'll also include 3 bonus stops to further explore the mountain countryside... A beautiful monastery where you'll have time to roam the grounds & enjoy this scenic location. We'll pick you up from a Paphos location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. Troodos Mountains

You'll be picked up from a Paphos location of your choice and driven into the Paphos region of the Troodos mountain range to reach the destination of our host. This will be a beautiful scenic drive through villages and vineyards. We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life – we cannot guarantee which stops we’ll be visiting after the cheese-making workshop... However, here’s an example list of products - honey / traditional sweets / wine / donkey milk products / carob honey / chocolates.

This tour was truly amazing!!!!! Best one from Paphos for sure! Our tour guide Christina took us to such lovely, real and authentic places. Places that carry real story and value. She is wonderful! This day was definitely one of my favourite days in Cyprus. And the halloumi making was beautiful - beautiful welcoming family that shared their love for the craft with us. It smelled like heaven there. Words cannot express how wholesome and beautiful and fulfilling this experience was. Thank You!

We had myra for our tour Such a lovely knowledgeable lady, we could not of asked for a better guide. Learning about the island, its food and drink ,the trees and fauna as we went to our destinations. Cheese making was lovely experience, so memorable and lovely to be part of. The food put on was beautifully home made and was lovely to feel so made at home. We then visited with iconographer for home made teas, biscuits and jams as she explained her extraordinary skill at painting. Then to local monastery with stunning views and architecture. We had a wine tasting next as extra to our tour. With four samples for 7 euros was exceptional good value. Lastly we visited Rosa for cyprus coffee and sweets and seen how she prepares bread and food for the village, before being returned back to villa. A highly recommended experience.

Probably the best trip I ‚ve ever been on . Christina was amazing guide ! Funny and make our trip relaxed and interesting . It was not only Hallumi workshop but nice touch of real Cyprus life and some hidden gem ! Highly recommended! You will be surprised and impressed.

The van that collected us had seats for 5 but we were 6 passengers so the middle row was cramped with 3 persons. Myra, who drove us around and explained everything, was excellent. The same can be said for the halloumi making experience and we learnt a lot. They served a lovely brunch afterwards. The aftermath was disappointing, as we were promised wine tasting and snacks throughout the day. In the event, Myra purchased some small bottles at a monastery so we sampled those when we enough we would be visiting a winery. We finally visited an icon artist who showed us lovely works of art and gave us tea with a biscuit - the total extent of our snacks. In that respect it was disappointing and poor value

What a beautiful experience! We were picked up by our tour guide Elena who quickly made us comfortable by asking us questions and being interested in us. She’s a rare kind of guide who doesn’t just tell you facts, but makes it incredibly interesting to listen, to learn and to try everything along the way. We loved the halloumi making with Olympia and her lovely family. It felt very personal and unique and we feel like we learned a lot. Trying all the stages of the halloumi product was particularly interesting to me as I realised how versatile it is. Another key point of our experience was the visit to the monastery. It felt spiritual and we lit a couple of candles for our families. After that we walked around and bought a few wines and gifts from the gift shop. The sweet wine is absolutely delicious. We were quite tired by the end of the trip but it was definitely worth the money and it was an experience I recommend to anyone that wants to dive into the Cypriot culture

A highlight of our trip to Cyprus. Our guide made it so enjoyable and easy from the moment we were picked up at our hotel, to when we were dropped back to our hotel with bellies full of traditional Cypriot food and drink. There was so much more included in this trip than we expected and it was so lovely that our guide took all the photos we needed so we could sit back and relax. I would definitely recommend this trip, especially if you want to see real Cyprus 🇨🇾
Halloumi was good and tasty but other stops didnt add a lot to the trip. Also, no winery tour as expected

The Halloumi making was fun but we thought from the description we would also get to go to a proper winery. Instead we drank a tiny amount of 1 wine from a monestry which does make wine but we didnt see the winery or have a proper tasting. If you want a winery tour, do a different excursion for sure. If the halloumi making on its own was available, this would be better as the other stops didnt add a lot to the trip. The tour guide was very knowledgeable though.

“We were taken by our excellent host Myra, to see a range of fascinating food and wine places, including: halloumi cheese making, a monastery and a world renowned iconographer. We highly recommend this day to anyone. Myra is a walking encyclopaedia with great knowledge of the quaint villages around the Troodos mountains. The whole day was certainly a highlight of our holiday and a great way to see and experience the real Cyprus. Ten out of ten, a great day. Book it…..you will not be disappointed.
