Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! We're a small team of true foodies and our activities focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine...
You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 4-5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a winery plus a visit to the scenic village*. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, honey, donkey milk products and traditional sweets. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch.

What To Expect
Hello from Cyprus Taste Tours! We're a friendly team of local guides all with Cypriot heritage. A group of true foodies, our activities focus on discovering Cyprus through food & wine... On this day tour you’ll be driven around carefully selected villages to visit 5 traditional product workshops to taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. You’ll learn about the sourcing of ingredients, the making process and the traditions linked to the products. You'll experience foods such as halloumi, honey, wine, traditional sweets and more*.
Larnaca
We'll pick you up from a Larnaca location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. 5.00Firstly from day one from reserving this tour everyone was accommodating that I was travelling from Nicosia, they organised a place to meet close to Lanraca and it worked out very well. I was emailed and contacted on WhatsApp many times. Georgina was an absolute delight. Chatty bubbly, really encouraging you to talk and was incredibly welcoming, and knowledgable of local cuisine. She was also incredibly accommodating and helped me get the bus home back to Nicosia in Larnaca! I will treasure the memory of this tour and really love to do it again one day.

4.00We took this tour with Helena and were picked up at our Larnaca stay along with one other. We then drove to Limassol to pick up 2 other guests - so 5 in total. The vehicle takes 7 although I would not have liked a full day in this car with 7 people - I already had issues with leg room in the back. Regardless Helena took us off to the Troodos mountains and some small villages to visit. The only one I would have skipped was the Rose Factory - for us it was too much of a sales pitch and not a lot of interesting information. The wine tasting was in a beautiful vineyard - Helena did not join us at the table - and the staff member serving us wasn't the friendliest. Enjoyed the wine but not so much the experience. Lunch stop was great - lots of food and whatever was not eaten was free to take home. A long day and it was after 7pm when we got back to Larnaca but we enjoyed it and would recommend the tour.

5.00Thoroughly enjoyed this insightful and engaging tour. We covered a lot of ground and got to try so many foods and drinks in one day. Helena is an incredibly experienced and knowledgable guide who is proud of her heritage and delivered an excellent experience for our all ladies group. I really appreciated the extra effort taken by the tour company to arrange a pick up directly from my hotel as a solo traveller in the country for the first time where public transport can be difficult - this made me feel much safer. The tour was very well planned so we did not have to travel for longer than 15 minutes between stops and we tried everything from halloumi, wine and honey to donkey milk! I would highly recommend this tour and seeing the beautiful countryside of Cyprus with such rich wildlife and culture was the highlight of my trip - thank you!

5.00An excellent day well spent. Our guide, Helena, was incredibly knowledgeable, and had an excellent way of presenting tones of information in a way that felt digestible. She covered far more than food and wine - she introduced us to traditions, history, culture, religion and so much more. She was happy to answer my tirade of questions, and her answers were personal but professional and really helped me to understand her country better. She is an excellent guide, and I would be happy to take any tour with her again. The size of the group was good, although there was no space to spare in the vehicle. Personally I had plenty of space in the back row of the 7 seater, but I think the 3 people squished together in the middle row would have like to have 1 less person in the group. The tour itself was well planned and executed with a good and interesting range of stops that felt like we were visiting real places, rather than tourist sites. Everything was included - tastings, lunch, wine - and whilst we were welcome to make purchases, it was made very clear to us by Helena that we did not have to and should not feel obligated to. The timings advertised were the correct timings - Helena picked us up and dropped us off right on time. Overall, I highly recommend the tour, and highly recommend Helena.

5.00It was an absolutely amazing trip, even though it was my second time there. This time I came with my mom. We had super interesting day. We visited many interesting places, got acquainted with halloumi cheese, honey, olive oil, wine production and history in Cyprus. Throughout the day we tasted local food and drink. We also visited a donkey farm and had the opportunity to taste donkey milk, liqueur and chocolate from donkey milk. Our guide was amazing. Definitely recommend!
