You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 4-5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a winery plus a visit to the scenic village of Omodos. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, carob honey, olive oil and traditional sweets. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch.

We'll pick you up from a Limassol location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. Established in 2011 - we're confident we know all the best spots and we never stop exploring! We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. When booking with Cyprus Taste Tours - you'll be supporting a small local business and helping to keep the culture & traditions of the island alive!
Troodos Mountains
We'll tour the Troodos mountain villages for a full day of foodie fun! *We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because these local villagers are busy with every day life - we cannot guarantee which stops we'll be including... However you can be sure that you'll visit 4-5 fantastic places within the Troodos mountain villages and experience a foodie day out like no other! Some of the possible spots are listed below but others cannot be found on Tripadvisor and will not appear on the list. All applicable entrance fees, tastings and lunch costs are included in the price.

5.00Had Georgina, she was absolutely fabulous in creating a great atmosphere and ensured that she remembered everyones names and that everyone was included. Brilliant wealth of knowledge and was really personable. There was 6 of us (2x couples and 2x solo) and that was just the right size of group for all of us to mix with who we wanted to. Total time being in the car for the experience was about 7/8hours long, had time to take photos of surroundings, to wonder off in one of the small towns, take our time with eating and drinking, this isn't including the time to be picked up or dropped back off. Price for this ticket I think is fair, especially with what we got to experience and learn with Georgina leading the way. She was truely the make-it-or-break-it where she definitely made it an amazing experience. Thank you very much!

5.00This was a great and fun trip, we learned a lot. Our guide was Christina who is great to hang out with, and well educated on different topics. My favorite part was the wine tasting, the owner is really inspiring and very humble.

5.00A great day out, seeing lots of cyprus and tasting local delights. The haloumi farm was a particular treat, with all of the goats and sheep coming over to see us. Panicos was a great guide, providing lots of knowledge and entertainment. It is colder up in the mountains, so dress for 5 degrees less than the coast, and perhaps don't be surprised if it rains - the reason they grow the food in the mountains is it is wetter.

5.00This food tour was a great introduction to the rural and mountain towns of Cyprus. We departed from Limassol, but a similar tour can be done from Paphos. Our guide was Georgina -- who was excellent, fun and knowledgeable. We visited carob and halloumi makers, also the very nice Linos winery, followed by a cozy traditional lunch in Omodos. Highly recommend!

5.00Theodora was an absolutely charm to have as a tour leader that day! She made the tour very fun with her knowledge of the small villages made it much more special. The local food samplings, delicious meze lunch and winery stop made the day fun and filling. Definitely recommend this tour!!!
