You’ll be driven into the Troodos mountains through carefully selected villages to visit 4-5 traditional product workshops and taste a variety of Cypriot delicacies. One of these stops will be a boutique winery plus a visit to the scenic Chrysorrogiatissa Monastery. You'll experience foods* such as halloumi, village bread, wine, olive oil, honey & traditional sweets. Along the way we’ll stop at a village tavern to enjoy an authentic meze lunch.

We'll pick you up from a Paphos location of your choice. Our team guarantees you a fantastic day out - we'll make the most of your time with us and take you on a bespoke journey through Cyprus villages. We're all fully trained in the traditional foods and wine of the island and you'll be sure to receive a professional, 5 star experience. 5.00We had the most amazing day on the private Troodos Mountains villages tour as part of our hen party group of 11! Everything was so well organised from start to finish and gave us such a fun and authentic taste of Cyprus. The stops were fantastic — we loved visiting the halloumi farm, winery, honey farm, enjoying a delicious mezze lunch, and finishing at the donkey sanctuary. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing, food, drinks and local culture. There was far more delicious food and drink included than we had anticipated, which was such a lovely surprise! We also came away with some great photos to remember the trip and some fantastic purchases supporting local businesses along the way. A huge thank you to Georgina, our tour guide, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the day. She kept us engaged with lots of interesting local history and stories, while also being incredibly relaxed, friendly and patient managing such a large group. She made everyone feel comfortable and ensured we all had a great time. The Taste of Cyprus team were also brilliant to deal with before the tour — always friendly, responsive and very accommodating whenever I contacted them. We would highly recommend this private tour to anyone visiting Cyprus, especially for groups or special occasions!

5.00All went to plan. Contacted the day before as promised with collection details from our accommodation. On the day received message from our guide Vasilis that he was running 15 mins late. Well done on letting us know. Vasilis was personable, polite knowledgeable and made the day go smoothly with explanations throughout. Yes many of the stops are designed to encourage purchases but there is no pressure and we gave in to some sweets and four bottles of wine at a VERY decent price. Meze lunch was described as being a light or small meze but there was plenty there and tasty. Some excellent views up in the mountains. The wine tasting was brief and the measures VERY minimal but we expected that. If you want a wine day with more explanation and MORE wine then go for a day tour designed to do just that. Just a very pleasant trip that was somewhat varied in the type of places we were taken to. As in the title - highly recommended as long as you are realistic as to what wine you will get to taste. Well done Vasilis. 👍

5.00Brilliant day out. Theadora was a fantastic guide and we throughly enjoyed the whole experience. Hard to choose a best bit, but sitting on a farm eating fresh halloumi cheese drinking fresh lemonade, sitting in a monastery eating local Cypriot cuisine and theb being entertained by a 92 year old wine maker with stories galore are just a few highlights. Amazing full day experience.
