Sophia our Guide was extremely knowledgeable and highly affable. The driver, Mr Adamas, negotiated the drive with excellent skill. Our entire day was extremely informative and highly pleasurable. The Troodos area and Monasteries are exquisite.

This was our 4th trip up the mountains, third time with Qualiday and so worth the money. Our guide and driver were excellent, pointing out all the beautiful things to see and with a wealth of knowledge. The stop at Kykkos was stunning as always and then the stop at Omodos. We will take this trip again and highly recommend Qualiday.

There is a lot on offer in this day trip but for me that was at the expense of quality. Because of all the haste, you can't really enjoy yourself. For lunch and sales in the store was relatively much time. It wasn't really a warm Mood in the restaurant, the food was fine. So I was sorry that there was little time in the Kykkos monastery. A lot is told on the bus and little in the places themselves. There was also little room for questions. The program had to be finished was my conclusion.

Great day out. Sophia and Adamos were excellent. Our guide was full of interesting information and it made the day run really well. Was good that we never felt rushed.

Had a delightful tour with our tour guide, she was very knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly. The tour was organized very well. Thanks to the driver who managed the complicated route through the mountains very professionally. At the day of our tour the weather was cold, it was even snowily in the mountains. Unfortunately, we were not advised that it could be cold up there and we had to wear warmer clothes. I would highly recommend this tour.

Luxury coach, excellent tour guide and a very competent driver. The guide, Sophia, explained everything as we traveled and we learned a lot of the local history. We had considered hiring a car but this is a much better way of finding things out.

The guide showed her extensive knowledge of the sites visited. Unfortunately Omodos was undergoing major works so the square wasn't open.

When entering the bus the everyone was sitting in the middle or back of the bus. No one was in the front seats but there was a purse there, usually meaning that the seat was already occupied, one would suppose by the tour guide who was outside. So everyone passed it by. When the bus filled up, the tour guide had to remove her purse to let the last people on sit there as there was nowhere else. So the last people on got the best seats. Where does that ever happen? You will waste time a money at a ridiculously terrible restaurant in the middle of nowhere at lunchtime when you’re starving and there is nowhere else to go. The buffet food is beyond terrible. The lamb is joints of sheep. The chicken is old rooster legs (no white meat). We were gouged 15€ for this mess of pottage, and then another 4.5€ for one coffee. Then afterward we drove to a nice village with lots of restaurants that looked quite good. It was cold up on the mountain and the only fire was against the wall so it only heated in three directions instead of four. The bus driver sat on the table on one side before anyone else could sit there and had the good sense to order a panini (obviously having experienced the buffet that was highly recommended by the tour guide). The table on the other side had a “Reserved” sign on it so no one could sit there, though no one ever did sit there. So only one couple got to sit by the fire and stay warm. The desert was supposed to be something like baklava, but was some gooey dough that was terrible. the bananas offered were not ripe. The orange was good, so I’ll give them that. Really, all we wanted to do was avoid renting a car and driving on the wrong side of the road, and see a few really nice and famous churches. That could have been done in an afternoon without a lot of time wasting. Although I will say that the time spent (30 minutes) at The Cypriot leader’s tomb was extraordinary and worth the trip all by itself.

Despite the heavy rain, we enjoyed our trip to the mountains. If you can get travel sick I recommend taking some precaution as the roads are very curvy.
