Our farm is the biggest family run burgundy truffle farm in Hungary which is located only 40 km far away from Budapest at the countryside in the beautiful hills of Gerecse. Our truffle farm offers gastronomic and truffle hunting experience in one place.
If you visit us you can experience the magical world of truffles while you spend time in a beautiful, natural surroundings with our friendly dogs. After the exciting truffle hunt activity at our truffle park forest you can relax and chill at our open air mediterranean style terrace, snipping wine while we are preparing delicious meal to you using the freshly found truffles.

The tasting menu contains cold and warm ingredients: truffle spreads with freshly baked baguette/bun a main dish with meat and a truffle dessert. We use seasonal ingredients.
The tasting menu contains allergens: gluten, lactose, eggs, nuts, and peanuts.

What To Expect
You will experience the magical world of truffles, take part in an exciting truffle hunt with our dogs and have a freshly made meal with truffle tasting courses in one place. The truffle adventure program is 4 hours long and includes the followings: • Welcome drink – truffle brandy of the house • Introduction to the mysterious world of truffles and our plantation • Truffle hunting show with truffle guides and well-trained sniffing dogs: you will have a nice and easy walk in our truffle park forest with our guide and truffle hunting dogs. The dogs will show you how to hunt for the black diamond of the cuisine. • Enjoy a meal where truffles are the key ingredients: after the truffle hunting activity we will make you some delicious meal using the freshly found truffles. The menu includes fresh truffles and truffle products of the farm so you can enjoy the real taste of the burgundy truffle. A special welcome drink (truffle brandy of the house), unlimited white wine, mineral water, coffee and tea consumption is also included.

5.00So out of all the excursions/activities we did from Budapest this was the most fun! My wife and I enjoyed this very much especially if you like dogs. Sofie was did a wonderful job in her intro about the farm, truffle hunting, training, etc. She provided everyone in the group a welcome Palinka drink. My wife and I were paired up with a dog while the group of Danish guys had theirs. We went into the plantation and found some black Burgandy truffles. Amazing how the dogs find them. We went back for an amazing high quality lunch prepared by Monika with unlimited wine. I definitely would recommend this activity. The farm is about 45 minutes to an hr from Budapest. You can drive, do an Uber/ Bolt Taxi, but we preferred to use Sofie’s / the farms private transfer. Transportation can be coordinated with Sofie.

5.00This was one of our very best experiences in Budapest. We learned about the truffle business while running a dog through the truffle farm and digging for summer Burgundy truffles. The industry is newly returned to Hungary and it was exciting to see the passion of these growers. We found many truffles and received a elegant and delicious lunch with truffles in every course. A special sweet truffle I had never before encountered enhanced a lovely dessert. Kind and gracious people who cared tremendously about ensuring we had a great time. THEY SUCCEEDED.

5.00Always looking for new experiences, we booked this adventure at triflafarm! This afternoon far exceeded our expectations! After a short introduction on the different truffles, the harvest etc. we left accompanied by ikon and Sheila to hunt truffles in this adorable plantation. As soon as we leave, we pull out our first truffle with our fantastic sophistry guide. And hop on by ourselves! It passed super fast and we were delighted to bring back our loot! After so many emotions the experience continued with a meal worthy of a star! Everything revolved around the truffle (even dessert!!) it was absolutely divine! All this accompanied by a very good white wine 😍 We started with lots of stars in our eyes and the certainty of going back one day and recommending this experience to everyone around us! Much happiness for the rest, thank you for sharing all this with us so kindly! The French who missed their train 🤣

5.00If you want to spend an original day, go to Triflafarm! Hunting truffles is amazing, humans and dogs are lovely, the food is really good, it was our best activity in Hungary!

5.00It was absolutely magical - from moment to step inside to the last moment, you can feel the energy and what this amazing group of people are doing. It is not just farm truffle but the whole concept of understanding nature and working with nature. I can't speak highly enough of this experience - it is a must. I can't wait to do this again. And i still miss the amazing dogs!!

5.00What a wonderful experience. The team was very welcoming and their farm is beautiful. We tried various types of truffles which were all very delicious. We learned so much about the agricultural aspects of the farm and had a great time with all the dogs. Highly recommend!

5.00We were assigned a dog and we set out to sniff out (literally) truffles growing underground. After digging out a bunch of truffles, we were then treated to a delicious dinner with each course incorporating truffles.
