This program gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will have the opportunity to do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers, and barracudas. Our reefs have no dangerous animals so you can relax and enjoy!
The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day). All you need is a swimsuit and a towel.
Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.

Must not fly on an airplane or participate in any activity at high altitude until 10 AM on the next day.

What To Expect
After a brief introduction and classroom briefing, we will outfit you with scuba gear and then you are off to the pool where your instructor will teach a few scuba skills, you get to familiarize yourself with the use of the equipment and finally have time to enjoy a scuba pool dive under the supervision of your instructor. After a lunch break, you will go out on a dive boat and you will do two dives on the beautiful coral reef with your instructor. The program finishes at around 5 pm. Please make sure you do have transportation available since the pool site and the marina are a few minutes away. Please note that you cannot fly on an airplane or go to high altitude until 10 AM on the next day after your Discover Scuba Diving experience. To participate in this experience, you must know how to swim and be in excellent health. Please refer to the health recommendations below.

5.00Superb experience with personalized support. Robert was very patient, reassuring and pedagogical, in addition to being very nice and funny:) Everything is done to feel safe despite the fact that we were a little stressed from this first experience underwater. We were able to train in the pool in the morning before the big boat trip in the afternoon where we dived twice. We have seen many very beautiful fish, and even swam with a skate and turtles. We recommend with your eyes closed!

3.00We had a less than thrilling experience. The instructor got upset with us after the first dive and yelled at us like we were little children. The majority of the problems had to do with our buoyancy. Had the instructor spent more time in the training before the dive, explaining how to be neutrally buoyant, and then spent time when we first went down adjusting I think the problems could have been averted, but instead he got mad, brought us to the surface and yelled at us. As an instructor of inexperienced divers you have to be patient. I doubt we will use them again.

5.00Great dive shop with a passion to get families into the water. We had a teen daughter hesitant to try scuba and a pretty good dose of anxiety to boot. We signed up for the discover scuba experience, did the pool training, but was still hesitant and worried about equalizing ear pressure. Our guide Rob helped ease us into the water and “chill and relax”. What an awesome experience, we went from trepidation to scheduling our next trip to get PADI certified. Thanks for helping create a new family tradition! Can’t wait to see you guys again!

5.00My instructor was Doc, a retired Marine. He did a great job of positively teaching and coaching us, and I now feel very comfortable as a scuba adventurer. This is an extensive online and in person class and needs to be taken seriously. I have always been a snorkeler, and I’m glad I am now also certified to do open water dives!

5.00We chose Key Largo scuba diving for our advanced open water training and we enjoyed it so so much thanks to the kindness of Erica and Beau and the crew of the sea dweller. We actually spent 3 days there, diving twice per day and had a lot of fun while learning how to feel more confident in the water. We're quite beginners (less than 700 hours of dive time) and we really appreciated how everybody helped us improve our skills while enjoying the beautiful reefs and the incredible Benwood wreck there. Thank you to all of you !

5.00My first dive experience after getting my SDI certification three weeks ago. The team at SF were amazing and very informative and set us up for a fantastic vacation. Our drip included four days with two dives a day and we dove different spots each time. Thanks to Randy and Doc for the Nitrox certification. And a special thanks to Doc for taking me on my first deep ship wreck dives and making sure i was comfortable and ready for the most amazing experience. See you again in December.
