What To Expect
Join us for a guided scramble up one of Eryri's most iconic peaks. Tryfan sits at 917m with the North Ridge providing a popular and exciting route to the summit. Known for its rugged beauty and exhilarating climbs this is a fantastic challenge for people looking to take their mountain hiking to the next level. Highlights of the Day... The Cannon Stone - an iconic rock jutting out like a cannon barrel, provides a great photo opportunity. Hands on Scrambling - tackle rocky slabs and ledges to progress over the steep ground. Your guide will help you navigate safely , ensuring you can fully enjoy the experience. Adam and Eve - At the summit stand between the legendary twin monoliths and hear the tale of the "Leap of Faith". Whilst no technical climbing is involved in this adventure, a good level of fitness and a head for heights and steep ground are essential.

1.00Totally unprofessional. Booked in good faith along with accommodation in peak season only to cancel a few days before. I'd suggest to go with an operator who has a plan B when the guide decides they won't be attending.

5.00I did a guided scramble day up the North Ridge of Tryfan today with Wild Wales. It was a great day - lots of scrambling, stunning scenery, amazing weather and a great group of people to share it with. The day was really well organised and delivered by Emma. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. I feel a lot more confident about going up Tryfan again in a couple of weeks now. Thanks Emma! 😀🙌🌄.
