5.00What a lovely morning with Elly! We are seasoned market travelers and food lovers and wanted a guide for our first market trip in Japan. Elly expertly guided us through the market, leading us to the best stalls where we sampled mochi, tamago, king crab, sashimi, whale (!!), and waygu! I love to cook and appreciated Elly's recommendation for seaweed and bonito stalls for ingredients to bring home, and she recommended some great snacks to bring home! A delightful surprise was the shrine to start our day. Elly taught us the etiquette of shrines and gave us a delightful history lesson. I cannot recommend this tour enough!

5.00The tour was an exquisite dive into Japanese culinary excellence of different varieties of sea food. Tsukiji market is huge and having a tour guide to translate and pick out the best places to stop was most helpful. Elly was an outstanding guide - knowledgeable, perfect English, and of course pretty and elegant. All of the tasty foods were quite pleasing to the palate, including a stop at John Lennon’s favorite Tokyo coffee shop.

5.00Great experience! Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, she encouraged us to try things but did not push. We tried lots of different food at the market that I don’t think we would have tried if we did not have a guide. She was very accommodating to us as some in our family were more adventurous eaters and others not so much. Well worth it! Also, suggest you go early like we did, the market got more crowded as the morning went on.
