At the museum, we take you on the tulip’s journey around the world. From its discovery in Kazakhstan around the year 1000 to its current status as an icon of the Netherlands. You will find out all about the tulip and learn in an interactive way about the cycle of bulb cultivation using state-of-the-art machinery and old objects (from before 1950). You will get an audi tour as well.
The Experience continues outside and you will step into a beautiful palette of colours. In the show garden, 1 million tulips are planted in 700 different varieties of tulips. All tulip varieties come from our own nursery. The show garden also has a number of special photo points for taking the perfect picture!
After the Tulip Experience you will visit the amazing Keukenhof flower Gardens. Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. A unique, unforgettable experience!
Pick up and drop off is in Amsterdam.

Your driver and host will be with you during the stop at the Tulip Experience. Learn everything about the tulips. At the museum, we take you on the tulip’s journey around the world. You will find out all about the tulip and learn in an interactive way about the cycle of bulb cultivation using state-of-the-art machinery and old objects (from before 1950). Follow the story of the tulip through the eyes of the bulb grower! After the museum, the Experience continues outside and you will step into a beautiful palette of colours. In the show garden, 1 million tulips are planted in 700 different varieties of tulips. All tulip varieties come from our own nursery. The show garden also has a number of special photo points for taking the perfect picture! At the end of the Tulp Experience you can pick your own tulips for free!

In the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens you have free time to discover this beautiful gardens by your self. Enjoy a private trip to the most beautiful flowers of Holland at the Keukenhof. Over 7 million bulbs will bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips. A unique, unforgettable experience! Your driver/host has already purchased the entrance tickets for you so you can go directly inside the Keukenhof gardens. Explore the largest flower garden of the world now! You will have approx. 2.5 hours free time for yourself in the flower gardens.

Beautiful Garden Experience - (But Please Read Review)

5.00Our driver was great and very flexible/helpful. Keukenhof itself is vast and beautiful and worth the trip, but it is more like a botanical garden. So, if you are looking to walk amongst the fields of tulips this will not be possible. We first went to The Tulip Experience which allowed us to learn about the history of the industry and walk in fields of a million bulbs! After staying in Keukenhof for an hour however, we asked the driver if there was anywhere else we could go to see fields of tulips. He quickly found a nearby place called The Tulip Farm which sure enough we were able to walk in the fields of flowers there. Highly recommend that you add on this stop to end your day fantastically.

5.00Guillermo took us to the Tulip Experience and The Keukenhof gardens. He was very personable and knowledgeable. We had an absolutely memorable time. He took us to an organic dairy farm and cheese tasting on the way home which were delightful additions. Our trip was more than worth every penny!!

5.00What a special experience. This is a great way to see the tulips with a small group. Our driver was lovely, as a reminder, this is not a tour, but a way to skip lines and have an awesome driver. I was under the impression that the guild would be more involved with showing us around. You get to skip the lines and walk right in. There is a section where their is an automatic recording to learn the history of tulips. We ended up renting bikes and did a 6 mile loop, well worth it!

4.00We didn’t know the Keukenhof Gardens closed the next day. Most of the ground- grown tulips here and at the Tulip Experience were done. Feel this should have been noted and trip discounted to reflect that. Nevertheless, the gardens were nice to see.

5.00We visited as the main part of our visit to Amsterdam. Booked a trip including coach to and from the fields. We were blown away by the incredible sights with over 7 million bulbs planetesimals each year. The Keukenhof experience is a must when in Holland, make sure you book in the middle of the eight week window.
