What To Expect

Tulum Archaeological Site

Tulum - we visit the site in the morning, right when it opens at 9 am, so we won't be swamped with tourists. The Mayan Ruins in Tulum are a magnificent seaport fortress built on a steep ocean cliff. While walking around the ruins, you can also see iguanas and coatis (an animal similar to a raccoon).

Here, you'll explore the lush jungle paths by bicycle or tricycle taxi and admire the architecture in structures like Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula.

Private tour with efficient pick up service. No need to wait before leaving Cancun. All entrance fees paid in advance- so no need to wait in line. Early in Tulum so no crowds. Coba expensive was awesome. Strongly advise the Cenote experience as well. Back in Cancun before 1600 to experience the nightlife.

Wow what an incredible day!! Just the best from start to finish. Tours with Mike need to be the go to tour company for any trips away from your resort. So easy to book, friendly, professional and our guides knowledge on the Mayan culture was just exceptional. The ruins were incredible and the cenote swim will be something I won't forget. Ivan was truly exceptional throughout our experience. His knowledge was impressive, and he was able to answer all our questions with ease and clarity. It was evident he has a passion for what he does, which made the entire time we spent with him even more enjoyable. His fun and engaging personality made the atmosphere incredibly lighthearted and pleasant. He was not only a fantastic guide but also genuinely sweet and caring, which made us feel so comfortable. Our tour was a great experience and our tour guide, Daniel, was fantastic. It was nice having a private guide. It made the trip more personable and relaxed. We visited the Tulum Jungle Gym, the ruins and swam in the cenotes. Would definitely recommend.

This was a great tour - Manny was a great guide - very knowledgeable about Mayan history. Answered all our questions and told a great story along the way. But he was also funny and great at balancing - when we just wanted to chill in the car, we just rode in silence. He’s great at sending the situation. Overall a great day, and the private experience is worth the price.

Ivan treated us very well from the first moment and made the excursion very comfortable. He also took us to a local place to eat (not a tourist buffet) and it wasn't intended to be commercial, just to share the culture.
