What To Expect
Our excursion starts at our office in the city of Baños de Agua Santa to start with the tour in our private vehicle, we will transport to Sangay National Park at 2800msnm. •We ascend 4 kilometers to the refuge and observe the flora and fauna surrounding the Tungurahua volcano at 3800 meters. •After 3 and a half hours of walking depends on the skill of the Andinistas we will have a panoramic view of the Patate pit, the Chimborazo and Carihuayrazo volcanoes. •We enjoyed a delicious snack and returned to Baños de Agua Santa

5.00What an amazing experience. Climbing to the shelter was challenging, but the views along the way and from above are totally worth it. It's an intense hike, but super rewarding.

5.00We did the hike up the Tungurahua volcano to acclimatize. The path to the rifugio is beautiful, even in the rain. The organization and communication with Tourismo Ecuador24 was excellent.

5.00It was spectacular the experience in Casahurco, the place is fantastic a whole river inside the jungle, with waterfalls, rappelling, the guides VERY good had with us, with the wetsuit is nothing cold, super recommended. As a point of improvement, the camera should be more up-to-date since we didn’t have the photos that said they came out at the agency.
