This scuba tour is for certified divers only. With us, you can see Hawaiian Turtles and White-Tip Reef Sharks on almost every scuba dive in Lahaina. Our dive shop guarantees small group sizes led safely by experienced scuba instructors. Scuba divers in Maui experience year-round near-perfect sea conditions, offering consistently clear visibility and warm water.
We include all of your rental scuba gear!

Proof of scuba certification required at check-in.
After diving you must wait 18 hours to fly or ascend to 1,000 feet or more.
Guests must be able to carry 30 pounds on their backs for a short distance.
Transportation is not included.
Divers must be certified to complete this activity.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
PLEASE READ: This scuba tour is a shore dive for CERTIFIED DIVERS only. You will join a guided group tour in Lahaina, Maui. We meet at the dive site. Look for the scuba truck parked near the corner of Ala Moana Street and Front Street. Please show your scuba certification card at check-in. Please sign the online scuba waiver before arrival. After your dive safety briefing, you walk to the ocean from the scuba truck parked on Front Street. IMPORTANT: You must wait at least 18 hours before ascending above 1000 feet, i.e., FLYING, ZIP-LINING, or ASCENDING HALEAKALA after scuba diving.

5.00Wonderful experience with Shane as our instructor. This was my first ocean dive and this dive set the bar pretty high. Many sea turtles and white tip reef sharks. We even saw a black seahorse!

Kevin's accommodating and encouraging nature, combined with his passion for teaching, made him an outstanding instructor. He inspired confidence in us every step of the way, which made a big impact on my 10 yo who was pretty nervous about the whole thing. Whether you're new to diving or already certified and looking for a knowledgeable local guide, I can't recommend Kevin enough if you're in the Lahaina area.

5.00We are repeat divers with Banyan Tree Divers, having first done the introduction to scuba diving years ago, then working with Banyan Tree for our certification dives a few years ago, and now returning again as certified divers for a private 2-tank dive with Caitlin. It was a great trip. She took the time to answer some refresher questions regarding diving as it had been 2 years since our last dives. That was super helpful and helped us get off to a solid start. We visited two locations that were absolutely awesome. The sea life was great — turtles, fish including an amazingly large puffer fish, eels, etc. We even saw a slumbering reef shark. All in all, it was a great day. We’ll be back to see Banyan Tree Divers again!

Take it from someone who swore off diving several years ago- these guys will make it an enjoyable experience no matter how much or little experience you have.
