What To Expect
Day 1: Rafting and Camping Morning: Pickup from Livingstone, followed by a safety briefing, gear collection, and a trek down the gorge to the rafts. Afternoon: Navigate Zambezi rapids, stop for a meal on the riverbank, and continue rafting downstream. Evening: Set up camp on the riverbank, have dinner, and gather around the campfire. Day 2: Village Visit and Final Rafting Morning: Breakfast by the river, then continue rafting downstream. Afternoon: Finish rafting, visit a local village, and look out for wildlife. Evening: Return to Livingstone.

5.00This was one of the greatest adventures of my lifetime. Enoch and his team were so accommodating of our plans and the hospitality was top notch. The rafting team of Captain James, Clement, T-boy and Abraham (aka Anna) were amazing. We had so much fun and they took great care of us. The overnight camp was simply stunning, the beauty of Batoka Gorge was overwhelming, and Magic Mike served up some delicious food while we were there. I would recommend this to anyone and will be back myself when I can.

5.00Enocklabisi the owner of Maano and his team were exceptional. My daughter and I went on the overnight trip on August 22, 2022. Generally I have found Zambia very expensive, but after seeing the number of people employed and the skill level and dedication required, Maano offered exceptional value. The rapids were awesome , 1-25, we flipped once, it was scary, but the team was incredible in retrieving us quickly and removing us from danger! I have learned in Africa that companies will understate the danger of activities as well as the physical effort required to have fun and be successful. Maano makes this easier with its professional and dedicated staff. We were accompanied by another international rafting company with American guests, that had the misfortune of flipping a number of times, and Enocklabisi was kind enough to wait to ensure the competitors raft did not flip and the guests were safe! They did in fact flip at a class 5 rapid, "the washing machine" and Enock and his crew retrieved everyone quickly and safely. This speaks volumes to the professionalism of Maano. I suppose what impressed me the most was that Enocklabisi is just an ordinary guy, that is an exceptional example of pure Zambian entrepreneur. He is a good and fair local employer your money stays in the community. All this with safety and professional service. Other companies may be Similar, but I would look o further than Mano.Thanks for making our holiday special!

5.00Me and my gf did a multiple nights camping trip of the Zambezi rapids and the more adventurous lower Zambezi with Maano. Everyone at Maano has extensive experience on the river. We felt very safe and well taken care of. They tailor the experience to your interests and if you know what you want they will strive to make it happen. A very personal experience. Everyone from the guides, the kayakers, the porters to the chef were super friendly. It would definitely recommend to do an overnight trip. Continuing beyond the usual rapids and on a less travelled part of the Zambezi was an incredible and humbling experience. An adventure impossible to do without very qualified guides to show you the way. 5/5 toasters!
