What To Expect
Philipsburg
On your way back to the port or hotel, you can choose to end your tour in Philipsburg, the shopping capital of the Caribbean. This duty-free town is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten and features Front Street and Back Street, which are lined with shops. To the south, you'll find Great Bay Beach and the Boardwalk, which is home to a variety of restaurants serving local cuisine and lively bars. Philipsburg is just 20 mins walk away from from the cruise port, and guests can easily walk or take a water taxi back.
Great Bay Beach
Looking down on Great Bay Beach, the view is pure postcard perfection. The arc of golden sand is a striking contrast to the deep blue of the water, which seems to shimmer with a hundred different shades of turquoise

Full day Tour : This tour gives you a full introduction to both the Dutch and French sides of the Island. Its 5 to 6 hours tour.
Duration: 6 hours: Port Pickups will be at 9.30am sharp. Hotel pickups will start at 8.15am.

5.00The traffic is St Maarten was horrendous. Raz admitted it was the worst he had seen. He did his best to provide information that was useful, but he couldn’t do anything about the traffic. Other than that the tour was as expected with multiple stops that were a waste of time.
Best of best catamaran cruise with views to die for & food/drink included.

4.00Raj was excellent and we loved hearing all about the different aspects of both sides of the Island. The only downside for us was the bus was quite cramped, the seats were narrow and it was almost impossible to get in-between the seating to the seats further back, ok if your slim

5.00What a great tour. Raj was amazing. Lots of great sights to see for sure. Plane spotting at maho was the main event for me. Bus was clean, comfortable and that a/c was nice and cold. What more could you want?

5.00Although we are not new to the island, this was our first tour and Raj did not disappoint! He is a great guide: very knowledgeable, congenial, patient, and funny! The itinerary is exactly as presented with some locations that are truly off the beaten path but important to any island tour nonetheless. Each stop had plenty of time, to grab a bite, take photos, and/or to explore. We never felt rushed at all! We learned so much about Saint Martin/Sint Maarten and hope to take another of his turn in the future!

5.00This was not our first Viator tour, but by far the best. Raj did an excellent job and was very informative throughout the tour. We visited sights on both the Dutch and French sides of the island (multiple beaches +) with plenty of time at each for photos, a quick lunch or snack, and soaking up the sun. We had a few brief showers but it seemed that our stops were "timed" to avoid the rain. Transportation was air conditioned and comfortable; bottled water was available.

5.00Rog was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us a lot of history on the Dutch and French side. We made several stops and he pointed out various areas we could explore on our own.
