What To Expect
Philipsburg
On your way back to the port or hotel, you can choose to end your tour in Philipsburg, the shopping capital of the Caribbean. This duty-free town is the capital of Dutch St. Maarten and features Front Street and Back Street, which are lined with shops. To the south, you'll find Great Bay Beach and the Boardwalk, which is home to a variety of restaurants serving local cuisine and lively bars. Philipsburg is just 20 mins walk away from from the cruise port, and guests can easily walk or take a water taxi back.
Great Bay Beach
Looking down on Great Bay Beach, the view is pure postcard perfection. The arc of golden sand is a striking contrast to the deep blue of the water, which seems to shimmer with a hundred different shades of turquoise

Full day Tour : This tour gives you a full introduction to both the Dutch and French sides of the Island. Its 5 to 6 hours tour.
Duration: 6 hours: Port Pickups will be at 9.30am sharp. Hotel pickups will start at 8.15am.

4.00Takes you to all the tourist spots. It’s a good way to see the island in a short time. Provided lots of water. Van and AC were very nice. Tour guide could have been more fun but he was fine. We did not get one picture as a full group. Wish us or the guide would have thought of that. I would suggest music on the van and maybe not going to orient beach first as no places were open to eat so we had to wait about an hour to eat. It’s a great experience for a first timer. I would not book again as next time I would want to do more local and not so touristy or have a more open itinerary. But perfect for a family group visiting for the first time so see a little bit of all the tourist spots.

5.00Amazing day with Raj. Traveled with 2 adults and 3 children (15, 11, 9). Tour was the perfect ammount of time. Communication was great. Minibus had great AC. Easy to find from the cruise terminal. Driving with Raj was fantastic. Learned so much about this lovely island and it was great to have a guide so passionate about the island. All ages enjoyed it. Beaches were great. Went slightly out of order which was great so we could be at Maho Beach in the afternoon for the big jets landing. Highly recommended for cruise passengers and all ages. Thanks Raj!

5.00It was both me and my daughter's 1st time visiting the island. Too Cool the driver & tour guide made it a safe & pleasant experience. The stop overs to key points of the island made it a good historical lesson. We also love the breaks to the beach, shopping, eating, and supporting the local businesses. We took plenty of pictures for memories.

5.00Raj made our one-day tour of St. Maarten feel effortless, informative, and genuinely fun. He was incredibly knowledgeable, highly communicative, and kept us informed throughout the day, while giving us just the right amount of time to explore, enjoy the beaches, and browse the shops without feeling rushed. What stood out most was how well-paced the entire experience was. We were able to see a variety of beautiful spots across both sides of the island, get a quick but meaningful feel for the local character, and still have time to relax and take it all in. For anyone on a cruise or anyone looking for a great one-day overview of the island, I would absolutely recommend this tour.
