Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
Mandala Suci Wenara Wana or well known as Sacred Monkey Forest Ubud is the sanctuary protected by local government and has an important function for Hinduism, there are 3 old temples have been built inside forest.It is located at Padangtegal Ubud, Bali. About 749 monkeys live in this sanctuary
Mas Carving Center
Mas Village is one of traditional villages in Bali fundamentally as an artistic countryside by focusing the art of wood carving. This village is famous in the island as Bali Wood Carving Center located in Ubud sub district and Gianyar Regency. It owns the typical style of wood carving art by placing forward the distinguish synergy of the humanism and naturalism. The village’s popularity as an art village is famous in the national as well as world wide. It is coming from the highness name of some maestros born and found the spirit and soul of art (Taksu). The famous maestro who was born at Mas Village is Ida Bagus Tilem.

5.00What a lovely tour and fascinating surroundings! Obviously, Edy, our guide made the whole experience an amazing memory. Very knowledgeable and friendly, patient and extremely polite and professional. A delightful companion through the Balinese experience. We managed to see everything we had planned and even experienced some local delicios coffee. Highly recommended!

5.00This was one of my favorite parts of the trip! Dedy was my guide and driver and I felt very safe and comfortable in the car. He was really personable and I enjoyed getting to know more about him and Bali culture. I'm a shopper so this was a perfect tour for me. We went to a beautiful jewelry store, batik print workshop, and art store before the Monkey Forest. He patiently waited for me to get done shopping before moving onto the next stop. We walked through Monkey Forest and he was a great guide. Overall, very much recommend this tour and if you can request Dedy - recommend him!

5.00Sacred monkey forest, inevitably you will have monkeys who will come to see you, ride on your back etc. If like me you are not comfortable with that, do not move, do not have glasses or a hat, they might take them from you. Otherwise they are not aggressive. But interesting to see them having fun with each other, in the water fountains or jumping everywhere. Quiet and pretty place in the middle of the forest.

5.00Ramon was my driver, knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and funny. As for the monkeys, great experience, but people need to understand they are untamed and to read and understand what they are entering into.
