Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary
The Ubud Monkey Forest lies within the village of Padangtegal, which owns it. The village's residents view the Monkey Forest as an important spiritual, economic, educational, and conservation center for the village. There are many of point of interest that you can see here. Other than around 700 monkeys, you also can see 186 species of trees in 12.5 hectares of forest, where will allowing you to get an abundant of fresh air. Open daily 08.00am - 06.00pm. Tegalalang Rice Terrace
A very unique landscape of a rice terrace is located in north Ubud arround 30 minutes from the centre. you can explore this area with a little trekking on rice field.

5.00We took the one-day tour on the 7th June and had a truly amazing time. Our guide, Tude, was the highlight of the day — kind, attentive, and full of knowledge. He showed us around every site with care, and always had engaging explanations for each curiosity we had. From the first stop until we returned, everything was well-paced and stress-free. We visited beautiful spots (temples, rice terraces, local markets, etc.), each offering a different taste of Balinese life — the culture, scenery, and even the food were fantastic. Tude made sure we understood the significance of each place, and he was happy to adapt the schedule a bit if we wanted more time somewhere or had extra questions. What stood out most was how personal the experience felt. It wasn’t just “this is the history, this is the view” — Tude added stories about local beliefs, customs, and daily life, which made everything more vivid. We left feeling like we didn’t just see the sights, but really connected with the place. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a full, meaningful day in Bali.

5.00We had an amazing Ubod tour. Visited the it’s not a factory. It’s a Batik factory, Silver factory, Mude art gallery, monkey sanctuary, coffee plantation, Rice plantation with The jungle swing , Kawi restaurant. De-putro was fantastic, friendly and kind. Best tour and worth ever penny ! We will see him tomorrow as well!

5.00I made a last minute change to my itinerary so I booked this tour just the night before. This is great for someone who wants flexibility in their trip. This trip gets the essence of Ubud with a nice variety of attractions, and you don't need to worry about the transport travelling with your private driver. And special shout out to my guide/driver Tude! He's friendly and talkative, and he knows the attractions well enough for you to enjoy. He'd also share something about the life of the Balinese people. He's the guy!

He is punctual, very friendly and kind, explains a lot, answers every question and is really flexible to costumize the tour related to your wishes and needs. If we're coming again to visit Ubud, we'd book him for sure!

5.00We have used Tude and his crew of drivers two times now, and my daughter and her husband three times. They are excellent. They are always early and flexible when we need to add side trips or change plans. They speak and understand English perfectly. We use them going to and from the airport. Their prices are lower than taxis. For short hops to restaurants, use Grab. If you want Tude for a half or full day, it is well worth it. They know the best sites, shopping and restaurants. They all have a great sense of humor. Tude is a big Naruto fan and hit it off with my son talking about Anime. They have good air conditioned cars. I highly recommend them without reservation. Contact them early since they can book up fast. Greg Frazer
