After meeting your driver, you will travel by an open 4x4 customized jeep through the park. During the safari, you can watch elephants in their natural habitat, as well as buffalo, crocodiles, monkeys, deer, and many species of birds. Your experienced local driver will take you along different tracks to increase your chances of seeing wildlife, and will stop at safe spots so you can take photos. The safari lasts about 3½ to 4 hours. Morning safaris usually offer cooler weather and more active animals, while afternoon safaris allow you to enjoy the evening light inside the park. 5.00Amazing tour with amazing driver and tourguide, Naveen, who had so much knowledge to share. We say so many elephants from babies to adults going about their day in different ways. The scenery is lovely and the whole experience left us feeling happy, calm and excited.

5.00This safari was brilliant, the company arranged pick up from Ella and also drop off to Colombo after the safari which was much appreciated! The driver was very friendly and went at my pace letting me stay at each stop for however long I wanted to. I was very lucky that I had elephants come up to the car and put its trunk into the car which was amazing! I also saw crocodiles, buffalo, peacocks, eagles and many other animals.

The tour itself started with a pickup on time 👍🏻 we had a wonderful driver / guide named Naveen who showed us around and managed to spot almost everything there is to see at Udawalawe (elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, monkeys and numerous species of exotic birds). 5.00We had booked a private safari in Udawalawe National Park, and everything was perfectly organized. Our guide Prabod was very friendly and knew exactly where to find the animals. We saw a lot of elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles and colorful birds – just impressive. To top it all off, Prabod even spotted a leopard hiding well in the bushes – a very rare moment here! 🐆 This safari was a real highlight of our trip. Highly recommended!
