"City Highlights, The Butchart Gardens, Butterfly Gardens, Wine Tasting, and the Craigdarroch Castle"

This package is the best of Victoria, We will start out by going to the Butchart Gardens early to avoid the crowds, and you will have up to 2 Hours to explore the gardens and gift shop. We then go to the Butterfly Gardens, followed up with a local wine tasting at Church and State Winery. You will then have the option to have lunch at their Bistro, or we may have a simple lunch at the Red Barn Market where they make the best sandwiches on the island.

From there we will enjoy a scenic country drive back to Victoria to make our way to the historical Craigdarroch Castle.

We will then follow up with a city highlights tour visiting some of most beautiful sites of the city such as the Lieutenant Governor's Estate, the Beacon Hill Park, Mile 0, Fisherman's Wharf House Boat Community, and Canada's oldest Chinatown. We will take the time for photos at the Inner harbor.

The Butchart Gardens

You will get to enjoy the word famous Butchart Gardens. This is a 50 acre estate transformed form an old lime quarry to an amazing display of plants and flowers, in a forested setting. This is one of the most beautiful places you will ever visit, no matter what time of the year.

Church and State Wines -Brentwood Bay

Taste some of the best local wines on Vancouver Island at their beautiful facility overlooking the vineyard on the Saanich Peninsula. You may also take the time to enjoy lunch at their bistro on their patio over looking their vineyard.

Alan was an amazing tour guide! He customized the tour based on our priorities and convenience. His knowledge of Victoria and its history added tremendous value to our experience. We can’t believe how many of the major sites we covered without feeling rushed and how we were able to customize the time we spent at each. We had two day tours back-to-back with Alan at SurfSide Tours and they were the highlight of our vacation! (The other tour was named "Discover Sooke to Port Renfrew Scenic Tour of Vancouver Island.") As parents, we found Alan to be friendly, conscientious, interesting, informed, and intelligent. Our kids (14 and 11 yo) describe him as fun, caring, knowledgeable, funny, happy, and a good storyteller. We lucked out with perfect weather and this tour gave us a great overview of the city of Victoria. Every stop was interesting, and we wished we had time to stay longer at each of them! When our tour of the castle was delayed, Alan instantly filled the time by taking our kids to feed the peacocks! He just made everything work out so well; I can't think of anything that could have made it better!
