What To Expect

We proudly offer a designated bus driver (for safety) and step-on tour guide (for entertainment and information). Our drivers do not double as tour guides. All of our fully air-conditioned buses have panoramic windows for optimal viewing opportunities, and bathrooms on board. Start your tour with pickup from select Las Vegas hotels and we don't take you to a central location to reload onto a different bus. You will go out on the bus you were picked up in. Limiting pick-ups and traveling on one bus allows us to save time and get back early. It can take hours to pull in and out of every hotel. By limiting pick-ups to 7 we are usually the first bus company to Hoover Dam. En route, your guide entertains and answers questions Hoover Dam, its history and/or the Las Vegas area.

1.00AVOID THIS TOUR!!! We booked this tour and Comedy on Deck was the “provider.” They were HORRIBLE. The “tour guide” Trez was crude, made fun of people on the tour, refused to answer questions, and we couldn’t wait to be done with him. His “jokes” were not “family friendly” even though there were children on the tour, he made a lot of “jokes” about drugs and alcohol, sexual innuendo, etc. After a larger guest disembarked at the end of the tour, he made fun of the guest’s weight/size to those remaining. The description states you get an “exclusive 45 minute walk on the top tour of the dam” but this NEVER happened. First, the 2 hour timeframe doesn’t allow enough time to do this and the inside tour of the dam but MOST IMPORTANTLY our “guide” never told us where to go to take advantage of this offering. Hoover Dam itself is very interesting and the inside tour with the history and seeing the generators is neat. HOWEVER, this particular “provider” is down right awful. Also, the “free tickets” to the comedy show require purchase of a drink AND are the same vouchers handed out at the concierge desk at some hotels. I reached out to Viator regarding this poor experience/not receiving everything we were promised to request a partial refund and got NOTHING. Viator contacted Comedy on Deck but they refused to do anything and Viator wouldn’t help either, other than give me a phone number for COD to try to pursue it directly. See the dam but book through someone else.
