The Hoover Dam is a government-operated facility. Elevator closures to the generator rooms may happen without notice due to mechanical or security issues

What To Expect
Las Vegas
We proudly offer a designated bus driver (for safety) and step-on tour guide (for entertainment and information). Our drivers do not double as tour guides. All of our fully air-conditioned buses have panoramic windows for optimal viewing opportunities, and bathrooms on board. Start your tour with pickup from select Las Vegas hotels and we don't take you to a central location to reload onto a different bus. You will go out on the bus you were picked up in. Limiting pick-ups and traveling on one bus allows us to save time and get back early. It can take hours to pull in and out of every hotel. By limiting pick-ups to 7 we are usually the first bus company to Hoover Dam. En route, your guide entertains and answers questions Hoover Dam, its history and/or the Las Vegas area.

1.00Don’t believe it when they say they will pick you up at your hotel. They change it with less than 24 hours to go and then you have to uber to the correct hotel. The local tour was great. The guide was awesome. The tour was awesome. However Viator leads you to believe they will pick you up at whatever hotel you want, then the local tour company says, we don’t pick up there. Called Viator - no response, therefore no recourse. False advertising and they get away with it.

5.00If you’re in Vegas and have some extra time, I highly recommend the Hoover Dam tour experience! The bus picks you up right from a hotel on the Strip, which makes everything super convenient. We ended up on the comedy tour—unexpected, but such a fun surprise. Our tour guide, Joe, was fantastic. He kept us entertained and informed the entire trip. We stopped at the Welcome to Las Vegas sign and the Mike O’Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge, which offered incredible views and great photo ops. The bus itself was clean and comfortable, and they provided water, which was a nice touch. At the dam, we toured the inner workings and spent time in the visitor center learning all about the history. It was fascinating from beginning to end. Excellent tour—highly recommend!!

5.00The driver was safe, prompt and polite. The guide was knowledgeable, entertaining and super engaging. The ride wasn’t just a ride but more appropriately a comedy show on wheels. There was a great mix of photo ops and educational content. The Dam experience was enhanced by expedited access to attractions and drop off/pickup at convenient locations. The included lunch was well coordinated and relieved participants of the added burden of finding food and rushing to consume it. They also provided plenty of bottled water throughout the trip. Everyone in my group rated this trip among the best they have experienced. As an added bonus the ensured our entire group of 9 sat together on the bus, although the atmosphere they set made the entire bus (53 people) seem like one big family. The only thing I would change is allowing just a bit more time for the Bridge stop. Another 15 minutes would allow for a less hurried stop. Overall 10/10.
