The Hoover Dam is a government-operated facility. Elevator closures to the generator rooms may happen without notice due to mechanical or security issues

What To Expect
Las Vegas
We proudly offer a designated bus driver (for safety) and step-on tour guide (for entertainment and information). Our drivers do not double as tour guides. All of our fully air-conditioned buses have panoramic windows for optimal viewing opportunities, and bathrooms on board. Start your tour with pickup from select Las Vegas hotels and we don't take you to a central location to reload onto a different bus. You will go out on the bus you were picked up in. Limiting pick-ups and traveling on one bus allows us to save time and get back early. It can take hours to pull in and out of every hotel. By limiting pick-ups to 7 we are usually the first bus company to Hoover Dam. En route, your guide entertains and answers questions Hoover Dam, its history and/or the Las Vegas area.

5.00Booked through a different site, did not know comedians were our guides to the dam. Harrison was our guide. Dude was pretty rad. Funny guy with a lot of knowledge. George, our driver, was polite and got us there and back safely. We were picked up at the Nugget 7:25 first on, and dropped off at 2:30 last off. I recommend the tour and will do another with comedy on deck for sure.

3.00Overall, a good value-for-money tour of Hoover Dam but could better in a few respects. What went well: - Smooth pickup and drop-off, punctual for the most part - Trouble-free ride to/from Hoover Dam (thanks to the driver) - Good to have a hot meal (lunch) included in the trip - Useful commentary about the history of the region and Hoover Dam from the tour guide, although that aspect could be richer (see comments below) What could be better: - The stand-up, adult humor did not jibe well with the theme of the visit to the a monument with historical and architectural significance; certainly not family-friendly; - The guide did not accompany us to any of the points of interest or provide value other than the commentary; perhaps an opportunity to up the game there; most of the touring was self-guided or done by the govt. tour at the Dam - The lunch was very basic and of below-average quality; I wouldn't paying for something a little nicer or skipping it completely, getting back 30-45mins earlier and having our own meal

5.00Hoover Dam is an amazing place to visit at least once in your life. Our tour guide, Johnny, was a stitch and we appreciated his humor and commentary about the history of the area. Very knowledgeable. George, our bus driver, was great too. Very professional. The meal was delicious as well. Very enjoyable tour.

5.00Our host Johnny kept things light and interesting. It made the 45 minute drive go by quickly. Wish we had a little more time at the dam to get in everything (skipped the gift shop in order to have time to walk the dam and take pictures). Lunch was tasty and definitely hit the spot. This is a great way to see the dam and still have half the day to do more in Vegas.
