What To Expect
Your tour of Lake Tahoe begins at the Tahoe South Visitor Center in South Lake Tahoe. From here, you'll embark on a scenic journey around the lake which some have called the most beautiful lake in the United States. Along the way, you'll pick up essential history, pass top notch hiking trails, and of course have plenty of opportunity to visit the lakeshore! NOTE: The tour is over 65+ miles long, with more than 70+ audio stories, and takes about 3-4 hours to complete. New, Lifetime access, no expiry. Tallac Historic Site
The Pope Cabin owes its name to its eccentric former owner, George Pope. Pope called this home the Vatican, and would bring celebrities out for all kinds of crazy parties. While Pope and his family vacationed here, they hired a retinue of 35 servants!

4.00This audio tour gave a lot of interesting facts about places along the way, and many trivia facts, but skipped some of the more important places such as Incline Village, Zephyr Cove, and Stateline and its casinos. It mentioned the Olympics, but never mentioned where to turn off to visit Palisades (formally Squaw Valley), which we found out we had passed later in the tour.

5.00We enjoyed very much this audio tour! The pace is great and it’s full of stories and interesting facts. It’s very easy to use and if you follow the speed limit the transitions will be seamless. You have different starting points. We followed the recommended clockwise starting at South Lake Tahoe and it took us about 6 hours that included a couple of hikes and a sit-down meal. We highly recommend this tour.

3.00This audio tour was hard to manage compared to the last one I did from another company. Too many steps directions took me all about instead of just getting me on a path. Felt like I needed more of a map and the verbal guidance at the same time. Difficult to use sorry to say cause I was really looking forward to this guy.

1.00Would not hook up to the car total waste of money. Feel like I’ve been scammed. Was very excited to do the tour with my son, totally ruined our trip!
