What To Expect
Pingvellir National Park
Þingvellir (Thingvellir) is a historic site and national park in Iceland, east of Reykjavík. It's known for the Alþing (Althing), the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to 18th centuries. On the site are the Þingvellir Church and the ruins of old stone shelters. The park sits in a rift valley caused by the separation of 2 tectonic plates, with rocky cliffs and fissures like the huge Almannagjá fault.

The Geysir Geothermal Area, located in southwestern Iceland, is a mesmerizing geothermal field renowned for its active geysers and vibrant hot springs. The area is named after the Great Geysir, one of the world's earliest known geysers, although it is currently largely dormant. The star attraction is Strokkur, a highly active geyser that erupts approximately every 5-10 minutes, shooting hot water and steam into the air to the delight of onlookers.

5.00I got Unreal Iceland's contact through Thor of Salty Tours. Within hours of reaching out, I received a professional and friendly reply from Sævar with answers to all of my questions. From that point on I knew I was in capable hands, and the trip did not disappoint! For my family and I (7 people in total, ages 6 to 74), Sævar customized and curated several trips that included airport pick-up (plus Golden Circle tour), a Reykjavik city tour, and a cruise terminal pick-up/airport drop off (plus half day Reykjanes tour). Sævar also helped me coordinate tours along our various cruise stops (but honestly his tours were the best). In addition to the many amazing sights, we also made stops at Papas (a memorable local restaurant with most delicious fish & chips), Sævar's favorite coffee shop, and a bakery with the best ever cinnamon rolls! Sævar's knowledge of Iceland is so extensive, there were no questions unanswered (and we had tons!) As a photographer with a keen eye, Sævar took us to the most scenic spots and showed us the natural beauty that is Iceland. We felt at ease, safe, and completely taken care of by Sævar, and we can't thank him enough for such a wonderful experience -- except we can, by returning to Iceland for one of his Norther Light expeditions! I truly recommend Sævar and his company for your Iceland adventures!

5.00This was excellent. I booked it based on reviews that I saw. We had Leroy the guide and he did nit disappoint. He was kind, considerate and caring. Very knowledgeable. We hired him and the vehicle for a day and visited the golden circle. One the way he told us a lot of factual information. He had patience. Was very funny and made the day go fast. It was brilliant! Best day!

5.00Leroy is an amazing guide!!! His storytelling made the long drive entertaining and welcoming. He even added a stop to feed Icelandic Horses when we were finished a stop faster than expected. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide/driver Devin, turned out to be extremely knowledgeable about anything related to Iceland: from Geography, to History, including Geology, Sociology, Agriculture, Music…by listening to him you can tell he loves learning and sharing it in a very didactic , easy way.

5.00My wife and I took the full day Golden Circle Tour with Devin. This was a day we will never forget, and Devin was a vital part of this memory. His knowledge of all things Iceland and beyond was incredible and insightful. The location we visited were gorgeous beyond words, especial Gullfoss Falls. Thank you to Devin, his partners, and the entire organization for creating such a memorable experience for us in one of the most beautiful countries in the world! We cant wait to return and do the Southern Tour and scout out some Northern Lights.
