PLEASE READ THROUGH THOROUGHLY:

There are NO kids allowed under the age of 8 years old.

You must arrive 30 minutes early. Experience a fully guided tour into the 8th wonder of the world, Upper Antelope Canyon. This tour will show the natural illuminating sunlight on the canyon walls, while it is changing colors throughout the seasons. Tour 1 allows sightseers to experience the canyon for around 80 minutes in their selected time slot. With the new updated guidelines, Upper Antelope Canyon is a single direction tour. Visitors will now exit with a 15-minute hike, up and over the beautiful canyon. There are 21 steps going up and 112 steps going down.

No children under 8 years old and due to the elevation changes, this tour is not handicapped accessible.

We did the upper antelope canyon. The beauty was beyond amazing. The canyon can speak for itself. I would like to express how grateful I am to our guide Lamar Yazzie. He made our journey wonderful. He gave a narrative about the canyon. He helped everyone in our group adjust their cameras and told us the best shots for photos. Afterwards, he found a lovely location for just our group and played a flute like instrument, traditional Navajo music. It was spellbinding. Thank you Larmar for making our adventure so special and memorable.

Beautiful canyon. Lots of steep steps. Our guide was fantastic. Time for lots of photos. Interesting history. A must do for those who love slots.

Mike was our guide. The Upper Antelope Canyon is the easiest to walk. Mike set our cell phones for best picture taking inside the canyon. He took shots for us and set up unique lighting shots for couples, groups, and individuals. He was excellent in making sure our experience was one to remember.

Brendon guided us through the canyon with a group of 8-10 people. Comfortable transport and knowledgeable information shared. Brendon took pictures of us and for us of the most magnificent spots in the canyon. A popular spot and yes, you should go!

We booked a 10:40am tour but were rescheduled (in advance) for an 8:40am tour due to vehicle maintenance issues. The weather was perfect, check-in was flawless, and Art, our tour guide was awesome! Our tour group was fairly small and manageable. Art shared with us a lot of history on the area during our ride out to the Upper Canyon. We were allotted a good amount of time to walk through the canyon and take pictures. Art gave us a lot of pointers on how to get the best pictures and even took a few photos of us inside the canyon, which we greatly appreciated. We would have preferred the later tour for better lighting, however, we were not disappointed. All of the tour guides seemed very nice and they will help you with camera/phone camera adjustments to get the best pictures, so make sure you pay attention to the advice they offer. Bring cash to tip! We visited both the Upper and Lower Canyons and found them to have different characteristics, but equally stunning. Comfortable walking shoes, layer clothing and make sure you have pockets as bags are not allowed. We did take bottles of water which we left in the tour vehicle while we toured the canyon. Restrooms are at the beginning of the tour so make sure you use them.

The tour guide was not very active. He just drove us there, told how to take photos. He didn’t care to explain the canyon much, only a few words. I noticed the other guides were explaining the canyon, its history, interesting events etc. to their groups, our guide only hanged out with us with no much interaction.
If I could give it a five plus, I would.

Wow! Two women cried on our tour because it was so beautiful! I was not one of them but I found myself gasping at the sheer beauty of the canyon! Our tour guide was a mix of humor and knowledge with a zest of fun on the way back … the service was incredible from start to finish. This was a short and amazing walk in the middle of nowhere with spectacular photography! This is must do!!!
