  • A wonderful week in Utah

    Lee S,,Aug 3, 2025

The Utah Mighty Five tour was everything we hoped for and more. Each of the national parks are different and beautiful in their own way. We also were able to see a few of the state parks as well. Our favorite park experience was the sunrise at Arches, even though it meant getting up really early. Also, a must-do if you go is an add-on excursion to Antelope Canyon. It is beyond description! We were lucky enough to have a tour with just us and the tour guide. Kenny, our guide, did it all! He was the driver, photographer, guide and more. He was personable, accomodating to our needs, flexible, knowledgeable on many subjects and able to answer most all of our questions. We couldn't ask for more. Since it was just the two of us and Kenny, we didn't need a big van. Our only disappointment is that the SUV that we had was relatively small and by the time we got his luggage and ours loaded in, there wasn't a lot of room. Other than that, the tour couldn't have been better.

The Utah Mighty Five itinerary was so rich that we had enjoyed so much during the 7-day trip. The tour guide/driver was knowledgeable, courteous, and accommodating that made our travel even more enjoyable. This is my 3rd time using Viator and I am totally satisfied with their touring services.

Each National park was unique and beautiful The Arches is a must see .The Goblin Valley transforms you to another word. The lower Antelope canyon was enchanting! Going to the Grand staircase escalate could have been one of a kind if “the wave “ was more accessible to the public . With out the guarantee of “ The Wave “ I would remove it out of the schedule and add that day to explore more of Zion National park instead. Our time exploring Zion National Park was very limited . You must go there earlier in order to secure your parking , I suggest Bryce and Zion should be explored separately at least 1 full day for Bryce so you can hike at least a minimum 4 to 6 hours around the area and 2 days for Zion National Park. Some people like me are not very interested in the prehistoric museum, that can be another time added for bigger areas to explore like the Arches .The Arches is amazing! But you need more time there. The only reason why I gave it a three star because there is a lot to see out there but time was limited at Zion National park and I haven’t seen what I wanted at the grand staircase Escalante. I only discovered that In order to have a better chance of winning the lottery to enter “ The Wave” is for each person to participate in the lottery. To SEE and to LEARN about each place was the goal but I partially learned something about it. I guess that’s when google comes in to play.

  • “Breathtaking “

In one word, Breathtaking! This past January I reached out to Utah Scenic Tours and talked to Tom Wagner, who ended up being our tour guide. Tom is absolutely where God intended for him to be! We enjoyed a vacation of our lifetime! Tom lead us all week to the most beautiful hidden gems in Utah! We made stops we would have never made had it not been for him! By the end of the trip he seemed part of our family, not our tour guide. If we had to recommend this trip and guide to anyone, we would give a 10 out of 10 stars! Tom was very knowledgeable and genuine! Our vacation would not have been the same without him!

Utah trip We had hoped to be taking a Tauck trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons, having decided late ,were on a wait list that never happened. Went on line and found a company Utah Luxury Tours , who doing small group tours looked interesting. Read the reviews, all excellent, seemed to suit our requirements . Took the plunge and called , being greeted by the friendly informative voice of Misty. Answered all my questions and concerns settling on a tour of the big five parks . Over the next few days booked and paid . Never before have I booked and payed money to an unrecommended tour company ! I did on this occasion being really pleased to have done so , for our trip turned out to be , so much better than we could have expected , fellow Travellers were lovely people , tour guide was certainly the most helpful, obliging and knowledgeable that we have ever encountered . Scenery of the five Utah parks ,each very different ,was beyond spectacular , by the second park had run out of descriptive superlative adjectives . Danial , our guide , not only described the scenery , geology and modern history of each area but educated us into the culture of the early habitants of each location by taking us to view pictographs carved into rock faces that were thought ,some were up to 6000 years old !He even found really tasty lunch stops . On our last couple of hours in Zion National park, our last tour place ,Danial ,took us on a short trek in a dried up river bed ,to a set of pictographs that are not in any guide book . An amazing way to finish a spectacular tour with Utah luxury Tours . On returning checked out a Tauck iteniary that encompassed the same parks . Mentioned nothing of the early peoples and seemed pretty boring compared with Danial’s 10 hours or so with his charges ! For tours of the West in future it will be Utah Luxury tours .
