5.00Mark was a true delight! I was so happy to have found him highly recommended and discover he was as wonderful as the reviews indicated. Mark is a great driver, very kind, and a lot of fun. My husband and I really enjoyed our time with him. He gave us a genuine understanding of so many aspects of his beautiful island. We engaged him for airport-resort transfer (both ways), plus we hired him for a more in-depth day tour of the island that included a trip to the Pitons and mud baths and a delicious local lunch. We loved St. Lucia so much that we’ll consider revisiting in the future, and if we do, we will definitely hire Mark again! Also, I should mention that I sometimes suffer from motion sickness, and I was worried about the winding roads, but Mark was so excellent a driver that I never once felt ill.
Island tour was a highlight of our trip and private airport transfer is a must!

We used them for airport private transfers and Island day tour and zipline transfer. Mark and Stretch were both great with our family. No stress, good drivers, knowledgeable, customizable tours. The Island tour was a highlight of our trip. Our lunch stop was divine with an amazing view and delicious local foods. Highly recommend for anyone! 5.00We were thrilled with our decision to use Rising Sun Taxi Service for transfers and an excursion on our recent trip to St.Lucia. Mark was waiting for us at the airport and delivered us safely to the resort in his spacious and comfortable vehicle. We also chose Mark for an all day outing, and we are so happy we did! We had an amazing day and the places where we stopped were tailored to suit our interests. We saw the grounds of the Sir Arthur Lewis Community College and drove through the capital of Castrilles and other towns and villages including Anse la Raye, Soufrière, Marigot Bay, and others. We had wonderful tours of the volcano and the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens. We were treated to a fabulous lunch where we had an incredible view of the Pitons. On the way back we stopped at the chocolate boutique. What made this day special was the commentary from Mark. Mark is a wealth of knowledge and was very passionate and engaging. We learned a lot about the history and culture of St.Lucia. Our day tour with Mark was the highlight of our trip and we can’t thank him enough for this experience.

5.00Mark is a true gentleman & we were so blessed to have had him for our transfer to and from the Airport to our hotel. Mark’s communication was clear and helpful before our trip. He was always on time and his taxi was spotless, very comfortable and had modern conveniences like USB-C charge ports next to most seats. Water was also supplied. We were a group of 7 and Mark’s taxi easily accommodated us including everyone’s luggage. Mark knows the island like the back of his hand and so we really felt we were in a safe pair of hands. The big assurance for that was when we arrived. Sadly my elderly father-in-law fell over outside the airport on their steep drop curbs. He cut open his hand very badly which with heat and just getting off a long flight quickly turned into a medical emergency situation. Mark got us a local Ambulance and followed us to the local hospital where we were for 3hrs. Mark stayed with us the whole time and was nothing but kind and compassionate. He then made sure we all got to our intended destination. We could not recommend his services enough. Thanks again Mark!

5.00We reached out to Mark after seeing all glowing reviews. He was easy to work with and schedule our airport pick up and drop off. Our driver was Albert who works with Mark. Albert was friendly with a nice comfortable vehicle. He also was able to tell us about the island while we drove to the resort. We stopped for a breathtaking viewpoint photo. Highly recommend choosing Mark and his business for airport transfers.

5.00I dealt with Mark (owner) before I arrived in St Lucia to arrange the round trip airport -hotel pick up. Communication was simple and very straightforward, with a partial deposit to secure the booking and then cash upon being dropped off to the hotel on day of pick up. Pick up from hotel on day of return was a lovely drive back by Mark’s son who was very pleasant and chatty.

5.00We booked our airport transport after seeing Mark’s business recommended on the Secrets Facebook page. It’s nice to see the island by driving through vs. boat transport. Mark was responsive and punctual from start to finish. We were picked up by his son in an immaculate vehicle and offered water, soda, and rum punch/beer right away! We ended up booking a private tour of the island which included seeing the banana plantation, hiking, botanical gardens, water fall, and lunch overlooking the pitons as well as shopping at the market. Mark is very knowledgeable about the island. He made us feel like family from the start and we had such a pleasant experience with him! We hope to come back to St. Lucia and we will definitely use his taxi service again!

5.00Our first trip to St. Lucia was an amazing vacation, partially because of Rising Sun Taxi Service (Mark). He was on time for pick up at the airport. The drive to the resort was long, but Mark made it enjoyable and we felt totally safe in his hands. We were so impressed with him, that we booked an island tour later in the week. His vehicles are clean and comfortable. Mark is so knowledgeable and was quick to change plans to our suggestions. We had the best day with him and loved the island. He also returned us to the airport. We have a new friend in Mark, and would highly recommend him for your trip to St. Lucia.
