What To Expect

1.00Our tour was scheduled to start at 11 am It was a rainy day, but we figured we would Grab an umbrella and be good to go. Walked twenty minutes and arrived to our spot ten minutes early. At 11:15 I texted the tour guide , giving her our location and asking if she had arrived.... Thinking perhaps she been held up by the rain. I can see She read the text, but did not respond. A few minutes later I received an email from the company saying our tour had been canceled. Noting that the tour guide had a personal issue that kept her from arriving. They issued a refund that was going to take five days to hit. And by now we've been out in the rain for almost an hour. I really Wish that the tour guide had reached out prior to us leaving the hotel to let us know she would not be coming. This is a bummer from one of the most highly recommended travel tour options

5.00Our tour guide, Luciana, was simply outstanding. Knowledgeable, personable & fun to be with. We saw everything in Valencia we expected & more. Luciana had so much local information & many tips that vastly improved our time in Valencia. The 4 hours of the tour changed our entire 4 days in Valencia. 3.00The tour was good but not great. The guide was polite but didn’t seem particularly passionate or to be enjoying his job. We were on a cruise so did three similar walking tours (another also arranged via With Locals) this one just left us flat. I don’t want to be u kind but it wasn’t great.

5.00My time with Mimoza was fun and she helped understand how Valencians live their life and belief in providing for everyone. We walked through old town and were lucky to find a few things open during to bank holiday. She was patient and kind about helping me understand the historic elements of the city. I would go again on a tour with her and recommend her to others. Thank you Mimoza
