What To Expect

We have set out to teach you how to cook one of the most international dishes, the Valencian Paella. Rice is its main ingredient, followed by chicken, rabbit and vegetables. We will meet in our kitchen. We will start with a sangria workshop that we will accompany with some delicious freshly cooked tapas and drinks. Then we will divide into groups and start with the paella workshop. We will discover the necessary ingredients to cook an authentic Valencian paella (fresh ingredients bought in the Ruzafa market). Our chef will explain step by step all the secrets of a good paella and you will be the one who cooks the paella. While we cook we will learn a little more about the customs and culture of the Valencians. Once finished we will sit down to taste it. We will accompany the paella with a Valencian tomato salad, Valencia wines, seasonal fruit, typical Valencian sponge cake, sweet wine and coffee.

This was a great evening with my sons. The atmosphere was super friendly and the coaches were very passionate. The great thing about the experience is that you not only learn the secrets of cooking an authentic paella but you also end up becoming friends with complete strangers who are also attending. Well worth attending if you are a family, a couple or even alone.

This class was the best part of our visit to València. Jose and Maria shared with us not only the best cooking techniques and recipes for Paella but also made it all so fun. We started with delicious tapas and sangria, enjoyed the paella we helped create and finished with dessert. Maria taught us all about Sangria and the traditions. Jose expertly guided us through the history, process and cooking of the most delicious paella we have ever had in Spain. My husband and I split up so one of us learned the traditional Valèncian paella and the other made the seafood version. I would recommend that for a couple. We learned a lot, made new friends and had the most enjoyable time. I would highly recommend this class!

Booked this for my wife's birthday. We had a great time! The class is fun and relaxed as well as informative. You start with Sangria and tapas, then you divide into small groups and start making the paella. There were 6 in our group, which was about right. Each person is responsible for a different ingredient and process. We then sat down to eat. There was a small salad for a starter, the paella for the main course, and cake and fruit for dessert. They even sang happy birthday to my wife and gave her cake with a candle in it. The cooking process takes just over an hour, and the whole experience is around 3 hours. There are alcohol and no alcohol options for the drinks, and they seem fairly knowledgeable of food allergies but I would check before booking Highly recommend, we had a wonderful time! It's relaxed, fun and feels like cooking with family

Such a personal and fun experience for the entire family. Learned a ton, ate a ton and drank a ton... would definitely do another style in the future but we started it off right with the Valencian style.

One of the most fun things you can do and they make it super easy and interactive and you’ll be able to take pictures to make everyone else back home jealous. Plus they keep the sangria freely flowing
