We spent a wonderful day at Vam Sat Mangrove Reserve with our guide Max. His excellent English, combined with a comprehensive knowledge of the reserve’s natural features and wildlife, made for an enjoyable and educational experience. This was our first excursion since arriving in Vietnam, and we were very happy to have spent it with Max, who made us feel most welcome!

Wonderful day spent exploring the mangroves, with Kevin as our guide. Very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all my questions patiently and showed us around well. My sons enjoyed his conversation with them. Thank you Kevin for all your efforts.

First, our guide Max was extremely knowledgeable and taught us not only about the flora and fauna, but also the history of the area. We really enjoyed being in nature, getting to see the wildlife and getting away from the city. Highly recommend.

Communication was fantastic, used Whatsapp. Max was a fantastic guide, he was charming and fun to talk to. He knew I wanted to meet the monkeys, and he made sure I did. We stopped for food, wow! So good, more than I could eat. I would do it again and I would say, money well spent. Max, thankyou for a wonderful day.

The tour was amazing! Bin our guide was very friendly and told us lots about Vietnam and the area. It was so nice to zip around in the speed boat just my partner and I, and our guide. We saw lots of bats and monkeys, small fish and birds. Feeding the crocodiles was more fun than I was expecting. I was looking forward to seeing them but the encounter was even better than I expected. The views the whole time were absolutely amazing. Lunch was also delicious, really good food. I highly recommend the tour. The price was worth it!

We went as a family on this trip and I cannot tell you how amazing it was. Max was our guide and was unbelievable. The good. Max was very upbeat, very professional and very informative. He made us feel comfortable from the moment he picked us up. each of the stops that we went to were incredible. One of the best things that we did was to ride bikes through the Rice fields to a local home and to be able to visit a family and how they lived their daily lives. Our wives, sat on the back of a scooter because they did not want to pedal and they had the time of their life. When we climbed up the mountain at first it looked daunting, but he also climbed with us and encouraged us the whole way. It was well worth the climb 450 steps amazing view. The King Kong Island River tour was simply spectacular. We went through the caves and saw some temples and the women who were rowing our boat were great. Max stack the van with beer chips and water. That was a nice touch. There were simply no bad and no ugly on this trip go with confidence if I could give this trip and Max six stars I would and I offer that.

Very comfortable transfer from city to the mangrove forest first via airconditioned vehicle and then motorboat. The kids especially loved seeing the crocodiles. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. Our guide Kevin was very pleasant and spoke good english. On the way back the wait for the ferry was quite long, but of course the tour operators could do nothing about that. All in all a wonderful break from the bustling citylife!

We had a wonderful day excursion to Vam Sat Mangrove forest. Bin was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. We saw monkeys, fed the crocodiles and went to see bats hanging in the tree canopy. We also had a lovely lunch at the forest. I would definitely recommend this excursion to see something outside the city and if you have Bin as your guide you won’t go wrong.
