The Rijksmuseum was founded in 1818, but it’s not just any museum. The collection covers a wide range of topics and includes masterpieces by Vincent van Gogh, Rembrandt van Rijn, and Peter Paul Rubens.

5.00Rob, our museum guide, was excellent. He handled our multi generational group with ease. He was willing to be flexible with our plans allowing for a quick break between the museums and finding elevators for my mom. His knowledge of the museums made our visits efficient and educational. I so appreciated having him take the lead and managing our group. Took so much stress off of me.

4.00Viator did poorly at communicating where to meet our guide. We even arrived in area 20 minutes prior to tour! Guide eventually made contact with us. Based on title of tour we waited outside the Van Gogh Museum, where other Viator guides were meeting their groups. A guide from another Viator tour, “Fannie”, tried to help us. Not successful. We did connect with “Laura” and found out she was waiting at other museum—listed after Van Gogh in tour title. We missed at least 30 minutes of our expensive tour. Laura was apologetic, but we still missed the time seeing the artwork. The tour still ended as scheduled. Laura was kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. We want a pro-rated refund of the April 25 tour time we missed, for 30 minutes. Viator, what will you do about it? Sincerely, Sharis Wolfram
