The most phenomenal day! The crew were superb. Full of passion for sea life. They were knowledgeable about which whales we saw. Some great stories about zigzag and her calf’s. Our boat was held hostage by two humpback whales who were showing off, diving and playing with each other. They were so close to us we could smell their breaths! Boy they stank 😅 the most wonderful experience we’ve ever had. I know that Monday was a very special day for all onboard.

Great experience seeing humpback whales close to Vancouver city. Engaging and knowledgeable crew help put in context the behaviors of the whales

Bucket list memories! We were able to see blue whales, orcas, seals and sea lions and were told why they were in certain areas. Loved all the information shared! The pictures we received were wonderful too, so we could try to just focus on the experience and taking it all in. Make sure to dress for the weather! They do provide hot beverages inside and that made a huge difference throughout the day.

Don’t hesitate, book it! You will not regret it. This was a trip of a lifetime and such a special day. Petra, Ashley, Stephen, Captain Andy, and I know I’m forgetting another photographer (I’m so sorry!) were the best crew. Ashley and Petra very knowledgeable about these animals and talk to you along the way about what you might see, and the animals you do see. You don’t need to bring a camera if you don’t want to because at least two people take really great pictures of all the animals that you see. The photos are available to you via email at the end of the tour and part of the package. I highly recommend you dress warmly, because it is at least 10° colder on the water depending on the time of year you go. I was there October 20, and it was absolutely freezing on the water, but I came prepared. Bring your sunglasses also, because it ended up being a sunny, beautiful and calm day on the water. We saw whales within an hour of leaving the dock! There was a group of about 4 or 5 orcas hunting, even one jumped and the photographer caught it! We saw a few more orcas, a humpback whale named Strike, a mama humpback whale named Kappa and her baby. And to top it off, at the end, we saw a bald eagle. Incredible day, incredible crew, and it was just so much fun. There are two bathrooms on board, and they offer water at a filling station, free, coffee, and tea. I bought myself a sandwich before at the public market, which is steps away. We left the dock at noon, and returned to the dock at five so it was a very full day. I loved every minute!
