Memorial de L'Escadrille La Fayette

"Time will not tarnish the glory of their deeds" General John Pershing. Discover the history of this Memorial which celebrates the memory of the American volunteer pilots who gave their lives during the First World War, under French uniform, before the United States entered the war. Indeed, the Escadrille La Fayette was created on April 20, 1916, a year before the U.S. Congress declared war on April 6, 1917.
