What To Expect
Fort Christian
St. Thomas’s National Historic Landmarks, Fort Christian was completed by Danish settlers in 1680–making it the oldest structure in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Fort Christian is a Dano-Norwegian-built fort in Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Built 1672-1680, early in the first successful colonial establishment on the island, the fort served as a critical point of defense and government during the entire period of Dano-Norwegian, and later Danish, administration, which ended in 1917 with the sale of the islands to the United States. It currently holds the St. Thomas Museum, which holds artifacts and art of the Dano-Norwegian period. It was designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1977. You can admire the beauty from the exterior or enter this fort museum to experience the history of the Fort. Admissions are not included in tour price. Admission fees: General Admission Fee (non-local adults with ID): $10 General Admission Fee (non-local children ages 5-12 with ID): $7 It was built originally to protect the colony and island from hostile marauders. Since its completion, it has served a variety of purposes: a jail, a governor’s residence, a place of worship, and a police station. Recently renovated, Fort Christian is a popular site for visitors with its red walls and imposing clock tower make the building perfect for photos. You will have the option to pass by and take pictures, or enter the fort at the $10 pp admission price. Addmission is not included in the tour.
Mountain Top
The overlook is located atop St. Peter Mountain–the island’s highest point–and has a vista of Magens Bay that rivals Drake’s Seat’s due to the higher elevation, which allows for a view of even more surrounding islands, including the British Virgin Islands. Visitors will find much more than just a great view at Mountain Top, however. The attraction is a good place to purchase souvenirs, clothes, and other gift items. Mountain Top is also famous for its signature drink, the banana daiquiri, which is made with a variety of flavors of local Cruzan Rum. As we arrive at Mountain Top and you will be free to take pictures, purchase a World Famous Banana Daiquiri/ drink or look through several souvenirs that are available for purchase.

5.00Our driver was excellent and reliable. I felt so confident with him behind the wheel! St. Thomas is very twisty and hilly. He was a great and safe driver. He had a charismatic personality and was very flexible during our numerous rides during our 6-day vacation in St. Thomas. I would highly recommend this company!

5.00There was 6 of us on the Scenic Island Tour. Our driver/guide was Nazmi who was accommadating and friendly. We were looking for an easy, simple review of the island. All of us had visited previously. I want to mentioned that I mistakenly left an article in his van and he graciously returned it to me the same day. Thank you Nazmi!! We recommend this excursion to anyone who wants a 2 hour review of the island.

5.00Vi top taxi and tours were amazing. Our driver Nami was super helpful and he waited for us as our ship was delayed. He took ua around island and awaited for us and there was no rush. We will recommend him any time you visit usvi st. Thomas book with him and you will not be disappointed.

5.00We took a small tour of the island, and got to see some amazing views. Nami was a great driver, and even helped out with traffic when another touring company had an accident ahead of us. He was knowledgeable about the island and was very enjoyable to talk to. I would definitely look for him again if we go back.

5.00We really enjoyed our private tour! It was cheaper than the similar excursions options that Carnival was offering. Nami was an amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about himself and the island. He took us to any 3 stops we wanted, but we told him just to take us to his favorite 3 … ALL 3 WERE BEAUTIFUL! The van was air conditioned and we were the only group in the van so we had plenty of space to stay cool. THANK YOU NAMI! YOU WERE GREAT!

5.00We had a large group of 30 people. This was not a problem for our driver Naming. He had 2-3 vans to accommodate large or small groups. We used his services to and from the airport, sightseeing around the Island (he gave a lot of good information), recommended some good restaurants. He also took us dropped us off and picked us from dinner. Super nice guy. He is the one in the green shirt.
