5.00Our guide, aptly named Shepherd, collected us exactly when expected and gave us a private guided tour with lots of interesting information. Such a lovely helpful person who we warmed to immediately. Despite the heavy rain at times he made our morning fabulous and even provided ponchos and umbrellas.

5.00I had been to the Victoria Falls a couple of times in Zambia, but never on the Zimbabwean side. Today I did so with Treck Africa on a private tour. They are convenient to go with as they have a licence to go into Zimbabwe, so there is no need to change transportation at the border. They were a couple of minutes early for the pick up, I spent some three hours at the Falls and guide (and owner) Shephard suggested to go to the VF Safari Lodge afterwards, a magnificent place to have lunch. All in all a splendid day.
