We almost walked away before it began. A cold front moved through and it was 15 degrees with 50+mph wind gusts. We meet Joey at the Capital. She did everything she could to help keep us warm, even giving my wife her extra set of gloves. She was a trooper all day long, making sure we still had a good tour despite the frigid weather. After the Capital Leah picked us up in the bus and did a great job getting us from place to place trying to navigate the traffic and protests that were happening. The communication between Joey and Leah was great making sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend them, but do it in the spring.

Our guide Nick was full of information from the moment we met to begin our day at the Capitol. The group arrived early so we were first in the queue for the security checks. Good planning. We had torrential rain all day but most of us braved the onslaught in our ponchos at the planned stops. An excellent day for us, helped by Nick and the lovely driver. We saw a lot of key sights without having to walk for miles.
