Please note that this tour is only available up to 60 days in advance, due to the nature of the tickets. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment!
Saint Peter’s Basilica is subject to last-minute closures for religious ceremonies. When this occurs, we're happy to offer customers an extended tour of the Vatican Museums. While we endeavour to tell tour groups ahead of time if there are any planned disruptions to the Basilica's opening hours, this is not always possible and in these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts.
On Wednesdays, due to the Papal Audiences, access to St Peter's Basilica is not possible until 1pm
* Please note all participant names and date of birth are required at the time of booking in order to join this tour. If we do not receive this information, we will cancel the booking. Every customer is required to carry a valid ID that matches the name on the ticket, or an entry will be refused. Name changes are not permitted once the booking is confirmed.
* Please be advised that this tour option is non-refundable, with no cancellations or date changes allowed due to pre-purchased tickets. It is mandatory to bring a valid ID or Passport for security checks, and entry will not be granted without proper documentation.
A dress code is required to enter to the museums. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.

5.00A unique and amazing experiences and a must do for any trip to Rome. The meeting point was on the stairs and straightforward but there were hundreds of people.....but well organised. Stephania was attentive and ensured the experience was enjoyable. There is so much to see I feel that more time is needed. Some rooms we just passed through and more time might have been better. The Raphael School of Athens is breath-taking. The Sistine chapel is unlike anything you will have seen and is a must but the room is incredibly busy so wait if you can and take a seat on the benches around the room to take in the atmosphere. We didn't get the guided part of the Basilica due to a papal event so we went to the queue outside which took about 20 mins to get into the square but once in we walked straight into the Basilica. This was an expensive experience and I'm not sure the breakfast part was necessary but the food was plentiful and tasty. Be prepared for the busiest part of Rome and very warm inside. You do need to cover shoulders and knees for the Basilica but not for the Vatican or Sistine Chapel.

2.00So, this trip starts at 8am. No time for breakfast as i had to set off at 7am to walk ro the meeting place but was told I'd get breakfast so I wasn't fussed. Met the guide, amd the tour began.. 1 hour passed and I was getting hungry. Asked the guide when the breakfast will be. . Wait for it....she had no idea what I was talking about. Fml I was starving and fuuuuming that i was promised food and i wasnt getting any. Made a complaint whilst still on the tour because i am that type of person. Got refunded. But not the point. You promise folk food you give them food! Make sure you eat before hand.

5.00Valentina was fantastic! She was high energy, full of information and presented it in a way that made it interesting and easy to remember. Wish I had known the Basilica was closed for papal audience but totally my fault for not reading the fine print! Great tour!

5.00We met the tour operator at the steps outside of the Vatican. She let us inside with tickets and through the corridors to the outside garden. We had a buffet style breakfast, which was good outside under the roof with plenty of shade, sitting down in chairs overlooking the Vatican garden.Then she gave us a tour through the Vatican Museum that ended up at the cisten chapel. Our trip lasted about three hours. Overall, it was a great experience. It is warm in June so make sure you bring water.
