Overall, a great experience! Having breakfast in the courtyard was a good touch. Of course, you could spend days in those museums. We were traveling with a service dog, and she was accommodated very gracefully. Yes, you can travel internationally with your service dog! (Though it does take planning)

Flavia, our guide was incredible. She is so knowledgeable about the Vatican, its history and the present day. She was incredibly helpful when we had an ID crisis and she had a bubbly, friendly personality The tour was a joy and the museums, the Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica were all wonderful. Our breakfast was lovely too.

What a great experience. We attended the day after the Pope passed and the mood was a little somber. Firstly, the coffee served at breakfast has to be the best in Rome, God’s coffee. Nothing else compares. Seriously. The City Wonders guide is an art history major and provided so much detail on what we were seeing and its context. That alone really made this an excellent tour. I highly recommend! We moved quickly through the mandatory lines and then used our time to explore the details that we were interested in. Excellent tour!!

With it being our first time to Italy, we for sure knew we wanted to visit Vatican City. Marina was the perfect guide. Showing us all sorts of important things and sharing SO MUCH history and information. She made such good use of our time. I would highly recommend not only this tour but Marina as a guide. She made sure to get us quickly through the crowds and lines (no waiting with the tickets we had). The breakfast was a really nice touch since we had the first time slot of the day so it was an early morning. The breakfast was really good and filling…coffees, pancakes, pastries, eggs, breakfast meats.
