Not only products of excellence: the Baglio Ingardia farm is much more. Within our eighteenth-century structure, it is possible to participate in guided tours, with technical tastings of Organic Wine and Grand Cru EVO Oil. A journey through history but also through flavours.

What To Expect
Inside the eighteenth-century structure, owned by the Ingardia family for 4 generations, it is possible to take part in guided tours, with technical tastings of the products. A journey through history but also through the scents, flavors and traditions of the island. All tours will start in the main courtyard of our Baglio Siciliano. We will continue with a walk inside the Baronial garden, to end up in the tasting room, the historic company cellar. After the external tour, seated at the table, our guests will be accompanied on a journey of discovery of the territory, olive growing and excellent Sicilian oenology. During the technical tasting of our products, guests will have at their disposal: water and a basket of handcrafted crunchy breadsticks/languages.

5.00This wine and olive oil tasting in the Sicilian countryside was a major highlight of our trip. Located at a historic estate, once the property of a Spanish Baron, the setting is beautiful and feels truly transportive. If you’ve never been to an actual tasting, this is the perfect introduction. The staff are excellent and provide insightful education on the tasting techniques. You will leave here feeling like an expert, with an appreciation for local Sicilian products!

5.00Georgina was an excellent guide! She gave us the history of the baglio (plantation), information about its contemporary cultivation, and detailed instructions on how to do a technical olive oil tasting, our first! The wines made with heritage grapes, like the perricone, were delicious, as were the wines made with more common varietals (the chardonnay was especially good). This small and intimate tour is a great treat for your tastebuds -- and the location is beautiful too!

5.00This was a unique experience. Our tour/wine tasting expert guide “Georgina” brought out the rich history of the fourth generation family owned organic winery/garden. When touring the facility you could feel and observe the nearly 400 years of history. They have been careful to preserve the original structure inside and out. The wine tasting room was once the in house jail with the original bars still in tack. The ceiling displays the rich wood beams from the 1700’s! The 5 organic wines tasted were a nice balance of whites and reds. Did I mention the Chardonnay was one of the smoothest we ever tasted! If you enjoy olive oil, here’s you chance to enjoy a gold medal winner…if you are lucky you may even be able to catch a glimpse of Nicola and/or Salvatore, the nephew geniuses behind the brand. Geno highly recommends you visit this worthwhile organic winery while visiting Trapani ! 😎🇮🇹❤️
