The Madeleine site is both a unique place, mixing a rich prehistoric past (the site gave its name to a prehistoric civilization), remains of the Middle Ages (troglodytic village and ruins of the castle of Petit-Marzac), an exceptional and preserved environment and a peasant farm.
In high season (July-August) you can enjoy activities around ancestral know-how: blacksmiths, basket makers, sheet maker, lauze cutter, medicinal care workshops with garden plants...

5.00It is well organised with lots of formation about the place. The free app in many languages was very informative. There.are tours, although we didn't use that option.
