What To Expect

El Santuario De Las Guacamayas

Once you meet your guide we will travel 45 minutes south into the mountains, we will arrive at the macaw conservation area. You will see and enjoy beautiful mountains panoramic views This is one of the only places in Mexico where you can observe these birds in the wild. You will receive a talk about the efforts being made to protect these bird species, and once you have learned about them, we will begin walking along the trails through the forest to observe these birds in their natural environment and flying freely. We will also visit a viewpoint where you will have beautiful views of the mountains. Once we finish the hike and observation, we will take transportation back to Puerto Vallarta.

Easy short tour in nearby mountains, with a hours walk in the jungle spotting macaws and other wildlife. My guide taught me all about the species and the conservation program . Very friendly too.

It was an amazing experience full of emotions, you can not imagine how beautiful it is until you are there, I would definitely recommend it and if you are a nature lover you will love it 😍 our guide was super attentive, helpful and definitely masters perfect the information he gave us, super educational and didactic, do not miss this experience if you are in PV!
