  The private walk to the Guatavita lagoon was quite quiet. I went with the guide Diego Paris, who speaks Portuguese. A very attentive guy who was explaining a lot about Colombia and Bogota on the way. The whole time left me quite free to make any stops, without getting pressured by the weather. Offered a stop to eat, on the return, in the village of Guatavita, but because of my lack of time we could not stop. The tour is private, that is, there is no one else along, which provides a freedom and tranquility on the tour. It's expensive but worth it.

  Beautiful excursion that tells us a little about the history of the country while showing us one of its unmissable natural beauties. Beautiful company of Maria Paula who also kindly told us a little about the sociopolitical reality of Colombia and even recommended us an excellent place to have lunch and informed us all the attractions of the city and the best restaurants. We also went to the imposing and magnificent salt cathedral. I recommend a walk through the historic center of the Zipaquirá village that is spectacular and one of the best preserved in the continent.

  In February I was with my wife in Bogota. We wanted to discover the surroundings of the city and we were fortunate to have Catalina as our guide. We spent two days with her at the Guatavita lake and La Chorrera waterfall and it was very fun.Now we can say we this beautiful country in a different way

  We booked 2 tours with Hansa. The 5 hour Monserrate tour and the Lake Guadalupe with the salt mine. For the Guadalupe tour we had David Rodrigues as our tour guide. Wow just an amazing experience. David is extremely knowledgeable on the history of Colombia as well as all the spots we had visited. He knew all the answers to any questions we asked. He also loves what he does, I would strongly recommend requesting him as your guide. The tour itself was also great, stunning views of the lake, you get to travel through ancient and modern villages. The salt min experience was also great, something you can probably see only in Colombia, the church inside is stunning. The architecture is incredible. It’s a must visit to both. The 5 hour Monserrate tour - we schedules this tour on the same day as our arrival. Unfortunately when we arrived at Bogota airport we got stuck in customs for almost 2 hours so we had to push back our tour start time to 4:45. We had Fernando as our tour guide, he is very passionate about Colombia and knows the history very well. We wanted to visit the Monserrate first as it was getting dark and we wanted to get there to witness the views, again unfortunately it was cloudy and we couldn’t see much when we got there, we decided to wait to see if it clear up but it never did once we got back down it was too late for the museum because they were already closed. But Fernando still took us all the sites we were suppose to visit and told us all the history behind it. I would recommend to this tour in the morning and not risk of the same situation we had. However we spoke to the owner of the company (Eric) and told him that we were disappointed because we didn’t get see what we paid for. He was kind enough to give us a courtesy tour to visit the museums!!! I would highly recommend this tour company!
