The Tour is organized from the pick-up and drop-off from the Hotels of La Paz, Bolivia.
We enjoy an overnight trip from La Paz to Uyuni, upon arrival after a delicious breakfast, we visit the great Salar de Uyuni, Isla Incahuasi, and the tour ends with a spectacular sunset on the salar of Uyuni enjoying reflection in the water .
At the end of the Tour we return to La Paz in our touristic bus to travel another 8 hours.

INSURANCE:
It is the responsibility of the tourists themselves to contract travel or accident insurance, as well as carry the necessary documentation at the time of travel.
For the rainy season (December to March) the itinerary can be modified with no entry to the Incahuasi Island, taking another route as an alternative but visiting the Salar de Uyuni.

What To Expect
La Paz Department
The service starts at 7:00 p.m., with the pick up of customers from the Hotel in La Paz in private mobility, to move to the bus terminal and take the tourist bus that will take us to Uyuni for 8 hours.
Uyuni
Arrival to Uyuni next day at 7:00 am Upon arrival, you will be waiting for a private mobility to take us to a cafe to enjoy a delicious breakfast, and also an option to take a hot shower.

4.00Firstly, our tour guide, Lili, was great. The coach transfer and inclusive buffet breakfast exceeded expectations. Seeing the salt flats is a very surreal experience and undoubtably beautiful. HOWEVER, the majority of the advertising shows the picturesque mirrored reflections from the salt flats in the wet season. There is no mention that this is only visible in the wet season and what months of the year you can expect to see it. I booked this especially for my birthday (at quite the expense), so you can understand my disappointment, when it is not as advertised. I understand my failure to not research more thoroughly, but I still feel there should have been more obvious mention to this/less emphasis on the wet season. The salt flats are an unusual natural occurrence that not everyone is familiar with. I felt misled and so did the other visitors on our tour guide. Please do you research before booking this, to avoid the same disappointment. As I said, it is still beautiful, but not always as pictured.
I highly recommend this tour!!!

5.00This was an amazing tour!! The salt flats are incredible, I would suggest that everyone sees them. This tour also includes a huge lunch, snacks in the afternoon, trip to Incauasi island, and more. Our guide Oscar was amazing, one of the best guides I've ever had. I highly recommend!!!

5.00The organization is impeccable. We left La Paz by night bus (comfortable, with sleeping seats and blankets) on time. The next morning we were welcomed at the boutique Atipax Hotel, a beautiful place where we could rest in a comfortable room and take a good hot shower. The adventure in the salt desert then began. Our guide was simply passionate about the area and the desire to make us discover all the beauty of the landscape. His English was excellent. Dinner was super good, but the most magical moment is the sunset aperitif, a glass of wine in hand, on an infinite mirror of water. An unforgettable memory. The day ended in the same bus, still comfortable. I slept with my fists closed, dreams full of head.

5.00Special thanks to our lovely tour guide Soledad López Ayaviri and our driver Cristian Cruz Vasquez! These two deserve a major raise! Although we were exhausted from the bus drive and a bit sketched out when we first arrived into Uyuni (you are literally in the middle of no where), Soledad and Cristian made us feel welcome and comfortable right away. We agreed as a family that this Uyuni trip was the best part of our trip. The views on the salt flats were overwhelmingly beautiful and truly a once in a lifetime experience. Soledad's english was impeccable and if you get the pleasure of having her as your tour guide, you are in great hands. We never felt rushed and she gave us space to enjoy the spots we visited. We really appreciated her efforts to make conversation and it never felt forced. You can tell she genuinely wanted to connect with her guests which made the experience more special. Lastly, she did such a great job with the photos and really took her time to get the best shots! Our driver, Cristian, was the sweetest, most professional, and helped us from start to finish. Thank you so much!

3.00To start off the day you get picked up very early then you arrive at a small hotel for breakfast. We were ALL told on signup we were leaving by 8:30 for our tour. But after eating breakfast, we were told that our guide wasnt coming til 10:30 Everyone in the lobby felt disgusted because WHY get us up so early and take us to pick up point…to wait 2 1/2 hours!!! We all got VERY BORED just sitting around. So I recommend DO NOT GO WITH JOKER EXPEDITIONS

5.00This day was one we will remember forever! Our driver Christian & guide Leroy went above and beyond to make the day so special, thank you so much! We were worried about squeezing so much into one day trip but it didn’t feel rushed at all we had loads of time. The lunch set up and the evening drinks for sunset were just so amazing, the food was so yummy too, and they catered for me being veggie as well. Also Leroy took so much time to take the most incredible photos for us, ones we will cherish forever! The whole day was so perfect, definitely book this tour! 😊

5.00This trip was amazing from being picked up at our hotel to the luxury coach to the hotel we could shower at and were given breakfast to the fantastic day at the salt flats which included a lovely lunch and snacks whilst we watched the sunset to the coach home and the last lift to our hotel. Our guide Soledad Lopez and our driver Erik Cruz were knowledgeable and did everything to make the day extra special ! We can highly recommend it.

5.00We chose this 24 hour tour due to limited time in Bolivia and although it felt chaotic, all the details outlined in the summary of itinerary were fulfilled. Joker Tours staff is on top of everything and ensures that you’re oriented with respect to all next steps. Even the overnight bus (Bus Cama) was more comfortable than I’d imagined but if you don’t like riding on buses then this is not for you. Also note, some of the itinerary while at the Salt Flats may change due to weather, capacity etc but, in the end, spending about 5 hours on the flats is unmatched.
