Saddle up and ride off the tourist trail on a raw, backcountry horseback adventure around Pacaya Volcano. Follow rugged local paths through volcanic terrain, farmland, and trails used only by villagers. You will experience the real landscape, guided by locals who grew up here. Experienced riders will find plenty of open stretches where we can safely pick up speed and really RIDE. We will stop along the route for a cold beer (or two!) to cheers with locals at a tienda, and refuel at a traditional comedor where local women cook fresh food the way families here eat every day. Expect dust, adventure and culture.
