What To Expect
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Punalu'u Black Sand Beach
See one of Hawai‘i’s most famous black sand beaches, formed by cooled lava fragments. Keep an eye out for resting honu (sea turtles) along the shoreline as you stroll, take photos, and enjoy the striking contrast of black sand against blue water.

5.00This private tour was awesome!! Dave was the BEST tour guide, he knows everything about the island and regaled us with fascinating facts as he showed us around. He was super accommodating to our group with small children and grandparents and made the stops work for our needs. If you’re travelling with a larger group, a private tour is definitely the way to go. We went swimming at Two-Step, ate delicious food at the bakery, saw the black sand beaches, and made it to the volcano and lava tube before our kids tapped out. The van was clean and comfortable and Dave was a super safe diver. Everything about this tour was well worth it!

5.00Suzie was the best tour guide ever! She really knows the area very well and knew so much history of all the places. The volcano and the waterfalls were spectacular and Suzie really did make you feel like a local. She also took us to Coconut grill - can we just say the BEST lobster roll EVER!! We’ve had lobster rolls at Montauk and New England area - Coconut Grill has set the expectation.

5.00Suzie picked us up from the airport at 0700 and it was 7 hours of great experiences from there onwards. We had a great time seeing the volcanoes, steam vents, lava tubes, waterfalls, and black sand beaches. Suzie also took us to a great lunch spot and mochi shop. She was professional and funny throughout! 10/10

5.00Suzie gave us an amazing tour of the Volcanoes National Park, beautiful Rainbow waterfalls, a black sand beach, Big Island Candies, Mauna Loa Macadamia nuts, and lunch and a tour of The Artist Cottage at Volcano Garden Arts. Suzie was very friendly and informative, and she took really good care of us. I highly recommend her tour!

5.00Suzie is a wonderful guide. We stopped at the bakery for malasadas, went to black sand beach (saw turtles!) the volcano was very cool even though it was not erupting. We also got to walk through the lava tube, Suzie kept us moving so we could see everything but didn’t feel rushed. She was informative and fun to spend the day with. Everyone on our 12 passenger bus got to know each other, it was a great day

We went to the Lava Tube, the volcano park, volcano wine tasting & a chocolate factory tour & a macadamia nut tour. So informative and so much history!! 5 stars!! Volcanic Parks & taste of Hawaii!
