Discover the incredible oasis of Wadi Shab - one of the last places in Oman where you can chill in fresh blue water surrounded by mountains. Enjoy a rewarding full-day experience as you explore this spectacular waterfall in a cave.

Start the tour with pick up from your hotel in Muscat. Hop into an air-conditioned vehicle and set off on a 2-hour scenic drive through the otherworldly landscapes of Oman. Along the route, stop at a local coffee shop to try an energizing Omani tea. When you arrive at your destination, hidden away in the canyon of the dry river Wadi-Shab, take a very quick boat ride to the other side of the bank. From here, embark on your 40-minute hike. During the walk, experience the awesome power of nature which has forged the rock formations of this impressive canyon.

On the way back, stop to see a beautiful lake located in the Bimmah Sinkhole. Finally, return to the vehicle and begin the drive back to Muscat where you will be dropped off at your hotel.

This is a fantastic tour but it does get extremely hot so definitely plenty of water and sunscreen needed. Once you arrive at the pool you can cool down and the semi strenuous walk is totally worth it. Water shoes are a must as the pool bed is pebbly and slippery. From here on as you proceed, there’s a spot to jump into the water from and if you have a great guide like we did they’ll show you the spots. The cave system is stunning and there’s another spot to jump from once you climb a rope up but careful as the rocks are slippery. Next on to lunch which was delicious before we headed to the Bimmah sinkhole which is spectacular and a nice way to end the tour Mahmood was a fantastic guide all the way through.

Amazing trip to the beautiful Wadi Shab expertly guided by Jamal - with interesting insights into the local life and nature. Not to be missed . The Sink hole was not much to see by comparison - but on the way back. Definitely take the option of water shoes and phone/water proof camera case. And if you are not a strong swimmer the life vest is essential.

My wife’s money was stolen on the tour. So NOT recommend this organizer, bevause the guide told me that is safe to leave any belongings at the entry of the pool. So we went to swim about one hour, after arrived back, the money was stolen. I write the office organizer what happened and help me, but no correct answer just silly chat to review my problem etc etc the guide told me that is safe and never stolen but looks like do that. So again, not to recommend this trip!

This is not a tour for who lives in cold country, who is over 55 and kids . Very intense especially during spring and summertime . Make sure to have a running shoes even in water . Very slippery and dangerous hiking path . If it wasn’t about our experienced tour guide Jamal I would have had heatstroke. Also one of our group member fell down and dislocated his shoulder .be mindful and careful pls .

Qais was an excellent guide, very friendly and helpful. The Wadi was beautiful and worth the short-ish walk to get there.
