Discover the incredible oasis of Wadi Shab - one of the last places in Oman where you can chill in fresh blue water surrounded by mountains.
Start the tour with pick up from your hotel in Muscat or meeting point (depending on the selected option). Hop into an air-conditioned vehicle and set off on a 2-hour scenic drive through the otherworldly landscapes of Oman. Along the route, stop at a local coffee shop to try an energizing Omani tea. When you arrive at your destination, hidden away in the canyon of the dry river Wadi-Shab, take a very quick boat ride to the other side of the bank. From here, embark on your 40-minute hike. During the walk, experience the awesome power of nature which has forged the rock formations of this impressive canyon.
On the way back, stop to see a beautiful lake located in the Bimmah Sinkhole. Finally, return to the vehicle and begin the drive back to Muscat where you will be dropped off at your hotel or meeting point (depending on the selected option).

5.00It was breathtaking we never thought that Oman had this beautiful side to it. Highly recommend doing this tour but be cautious that it is quite adventurous. You would be required to swim three different pools which would take about 45 minutes to get through and then finally enter the cave to see the mesmerising waterfall. Highly recommended if you’re up for the adventure. Beautiful Rocky Mountains welcome you into the wadi!

5.00It was a great experience and the place was breathtaking. The guide was very considerate. He made sure we were safe throughout our journey. Also on the way back, he voluntarily picked up a heap load of trash thrown by other visitors. Just a humble request to future travellers, Please dont litter your waste carelessly over here and spoil it's sanctity.

5.00Amazing but be careful. Put on good sport shoes and bring good anti slip see shoes. It is a workout to arrive at Wadi Shab but it is worthwile!!! We had a very good and helpful guide. Everything was perfectly organized! Good lunch and snack👌

5.00Wonderful day in Wadi Shab with beautiful scenery, crystal clear water and lots of swimming to the various pools and waterfall. Muhanad our guide was great; informative, helpful and made sure that we all did the tour at our own pace, and helped around any tricky parts. The visit was then followed by lunch and we then went to the Bimmah Sinkhole

The balance between the moderate and scenic hike, the pristine water, the wondrous landscape, a tasty group lunch, and the sinkhole visit makes the trip well worth your while! GidOman will introduce you to all the logistical aspects of making it to—and through!—Wadi Shab safely, including the costs of electronic device protection and personal flotation (if needed). Tour Guides like Abdullah will provide a wealth of information and insights (including in Arabic, if you happen to be a speaker of it), and—if you’re as lucky as I was—you’ll have a diverse and global cohort of other travelers that will make the trip all the more special and memorable. Be sure to take the day away from Muscat and see the natural beauty that awaits on Oman’s eastern coast!

5.00The trip was amazing, Wadi Shab is beautiful nature mix of mountains, trees and water. The swimming experience through the valley is big wow. The guide Mohamad was also very helpful. His english is excellent, deliver clear messages. He is awesome.
