Each 4x4WD vehicle can participate 5 person or Mini-Van can participate with 12 persons

What To Expect
Bimmah Sinkhole
Long attributed to a meteorite, this beautiful swimming hole is actually a naturally occurring sinkhole. Sinkholes are often the result of groundwater eating away at rocks like limestone and carbonate. Caverns form as the rocks dissolve, and eventually the ground above caves in, sometimes taking cars, houses, and even the occasional pizza place with it. In Northern Oman, just off the road between Dibab and Bimmah, there’s a particularly beautiful example of the natural phenomena. In an otherwise flat area, a sinkhole formed about a third of a mile from the sea, resulting in a turquoise mix of fresh and salt water.
Wadi Shab is a very popular wadi located in the Al Sharqiyah Region in Oman. It is a very popular outdoor attraction for both locals and expats, and people come here for the nature, to swim in the fresh water pools. The main attraction of the wadi is the water fall in the cave, which you can reach after a roughly 40 mins hike and swimming in 2-3 pools

Great day out at Wadi Shab

5.00My wife and 2 daughters and our friends (also family 9f 4) had a private tour with Wabar tours to Wadi Shab. Arbid picked us up from our hotel at 8am. It took us just over 90 minutes to get to the entrance by the overhead bridge. Arbid then took us all on the 50 minute walk to the springs - he was great and made sure we all navigated the route carefully and safely. We then swam through the pools with Arbid as the guide - kids had an amazing time jumping in and out of the water and seeing the cave at the end. On our way back we stopped for lunch and then visited the giant Bimmah sinkhole which is an incredible site. We got back at around 5pm all very tired but having had an amazing family day out. Thank you to Arbid and the team at Wabar tours.

5.00We had a wonderful experience on our tour to Wadi Ash Shab, guided by Mr Sameer and his assistant, Abdullah. From the moment we were picked up, Mr Sameer ensured we were well looked after, providing refreshments and keeping us informed with interesting insights about Oman throughout the journey. Upon arrival, all arrangements were handled seamlessly, including the provision of essential items such as water shoes and phone covers. Both Mr Sameer and Abdullah guided us through the caves with great care, ensuring our safety and comfort at every step. Their professionalism and attentiveness made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Although lunch at a local restaurant was fairly average, it did not take away from what was otherwise a fantastic day. We felt completely at ease throughout and truly appreciated the efforts of both Mr Sameer and Abdullah in making this a memorable trip. Highly recommended.

5.00We booked at the last minute because another company was a no-show. Wabar got us a car and guide within 30 minutes. Abid is a legend. He was energetic, kind and adventurous. He encouraged us to really make the most of the experience and he was very attentive to how we were feeling. We went during summer so the heat was intense. He didn't rush us through the wadi. We stopped at swim spots to jump in and cool off, making it easier to get to the cave without melting in the heat. If you're taking this tour Abid is the best, ask for him!

5.00One of the best excursions ever. The Wabi scenery is just amazing, between the mountains and the natural spring water. Our guide Tahar was incredible, super professional and easy going person. He gave us lots of useful information about the place and the country. He also came with us to swim. Definitely a must see if you are in Oman.
