5.00Thank you Zoltan! Our afternoon excursion to three different wineries was delightful. Our tour guide, Zoltan, retrieved us from the reserved ferry, where we met four other lovely couples. It was a great time. We highly recommend it.

5.00This was truly one of the best tours I’ve ever been on in any country. The tour guide, Paora, went above and beyond. He is the kindest, most genuine person. He truly cares for the people he is guiding. The women who work in the offices of this company were also the nicest and most accommodating. I ended up in the tour office and they took the very best care of me. The vineyards we visited were amazing and we had such a wonderful lunch as well. I highly recommend this beautiful tour and the company.

4.00Firstly, our driver and tour guide Rob was excellent, the perfect host - friendly, informative and fun. We really enjoyed the tastings and all the hosts and presenters at the wineries were brilliant. We met some great people on the tour who came from different corners of the world. Lunch was okay; wonderful venue and location, friendly staff, but food a little disappointing. (Dips served late, beef mains a little bit tough). Only one thing let this trip down: the admin behind it. We booked our tour in late November 2025. We were sent ferry information which suggested two alternative ferry companies to get to Waiheke, one being recommended over the other. The website link to the recommended ferry company was wrong. The ferry times given were also wrong, so that the recommended company wouldn't have got us there in time for the tour. I contacted Waiheke Wine Tours for clarification and received a short, terse response stating that in fact, only one ferry would get us there on time - the 11am Fullers ferry. We have email conversations to prove all this. The mistakes have neither been acknowledged nor apologised for by the company. Others on the tour had a similar experience. My current review is the third version so far, because all the company ever does is argue the toss and try to avoid admitting any accountability whatsoever. If this were my company, I'd be saying something like 'apologies for the incorrect information and links, we'll review our processes to prevent this happening in the future, but we're so glad you enjoyed the tour' - or something along those lines. Given the attitude of the company we would not book with them again. Which is a shame, because Rob and the hosts were great.

5.00Awesome day, we wanted to do this island wine tour and we nailed it! Rob was amazing and he’s lived on the island for so long his knowledge was first class. So many beautiful wineries to choose from but Rob picked a great list and we loved every one of them. We scored with a beautiful Waiheke summer day which made it even more memorable but I’d do it again even if it was pouring rain.

5.00Our host/guide Karen was exceptional. She was kind and personable and kept us on track and on pace for our trip. Her enthusiasm and humor were greatly appreciated. The tour itself was interesting enough and fun, I had some good wines and some...not so good wines haha but that's the nature of a tasting. The meal we had for lunch was delicious and I thought the length of time was just about right overall. My only complaint was that the lunch was first and then all the tastings. I would have loved to have a tasting or 2 then a meal and then a tasting or two after rather than the lunch first. But otherwise, a very good experience overall.

5.00Awesome day. Waiheke is absolutely stunning and a must see if in auckland. It’s an easy ferry ride from Auckland, where a tour guide meets you and then shuttles you around to lunch and wineries and a small private bus. The wineries and tastings were all great and the guide was fantastic and local so was able to share awesome insights and of course friendly! It was such a great day that i ended up deciding to stay on the island at the last winery for dinner after the official tour ended. Definitely recommend, was a great experience as advertised.

5.00Nooroa is very funny. He is knowledgeable and when asked him questions, he can present his answers to us in an interesting way that make us remember and laugh. He remembers all 8 of our names and where are we from throughout the tour from 11.20am to 5.30pm, amazing!
