Your Waitangi Admission includes access to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, entry to Te Kōngahu Museum of Waitangi, Te Rau Aroha Museum of the Price of Citizenship, an informative (50-minute) guided tour, cultural performance (30-minutes), Waitangi – Birthplace of a Nation introductory film and full access to New Zealand’s most important historic site, featured icons, bush walks and the spectacular views of the Bay of Islands.

Good experience but should have been given an scheduled option

Steph R5.0Apr 2024We had an interesting and informative visit to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. The setting is peaceful and the grounds are well maintained. The staff were friendly, approachable and informative. The performance was entertaining and educational. The guided walk provided engaging insights and the museum was impressive. Unfortunately, we did not give ourselves enough time. We would recommend allowing yourself at least 4 hours or more to participate in the majority of activities and displays on the grounds.Lived it!

Lyn J5.0Mar 2024CC was an excellent tour guide. Her knowledge and the way she communicated it was amazing, thank you. I was expecting a more traditional cultural performance but the 5 young performers were obviously very talented yet did it in a fun and interactive manner. Very enjoyable and I recommend it to everyone.
