Your adventure begins with pick-up from the 4 hotels listed in Auckland CBD, followed by a scenic 2.5-hour drive south through the Waikato region to the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Upon arrival, enjoy a snack or warm drink at the café before your guide takes you on a tour of the Waitomo Grotto. As you walk through the cave, marvel at the natural light display created by the unique glowworms of New Zealand. Learn about the cave’s history and significance as you glide through the Waitomo River on a flat-bottom boat, getting an up-close view of the glowing creatures.
Next, hop back into our luxurious vehicle for the two-hour drive to Rotorua. At Te Puia, experience New Zealand’s geothermal wonders, Māori culture, and native wildlife. Watch the Pohutu Geyser erupt— the largest in the Southern Hemisphere— and explore boiling mud pools, the National Carving and Weaving Institute, and a Māori village.

5.00An absolutely fabulous tour. Auckland & Beyond are a real pleasure to deal with. It is simple to select and book on line and their follow up communications are excellent. The nominated city pick up point and time we clear and precise. The driver, Advil, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He provided a great deal of information about NZ and the route during the journey, regularly pointing items of interest out. The tour itself was excellent and very enjoyable and we would certainly recommend Auckland & Beyond for your tour needs. We would certainly consider then are our tour operator of choice. Highly recommended

5.00Highly recommend this tour! We had a perfect and memorable day together with our tour guide Jon, who was fabulous throughout the whole day tour! He is very knowledgeable and considerate, always with a smile. Thanks to him, we had a wonderful time in New Zealand! Other than that, the whole tour vibe was fantastic, very relaxed and the admission fee was very reasonable, love it!

5.00Me and my friends had a wonderful time in this trip. Jon was the one who took care of us along the journey and he’s very kind and knowledgeable person. We had time to explore Waitomo and Rotorua by ourselves along with the guides at places. In the afternoon, we were starving so Jon even took us to a very tasty burger shop. Hands down for the service!

5.00I did a tour to Waitomo caves and Te Puia with Nancy. And I must say she is an amazing and interesting woman, guide and a driver. From the beginning, she made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. She is friendly and easy to talk to. Not only that, she is very knowledgeable as well. During the trip she shared some local history, fun stories and facts that really enriched our understanding of local community. She also knows the area pretty well. We were able to see cool spots for pictures, eating. I enjoyed the trip a lot. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a cool, knowledgeable guide!

5.00Great day. Comfortable vehicle. Very clean and tidy. Snacks ok but healthier options would be awesome. Seaweed or nuts as opposed to chippies and biccies.

5.00My wife and I went to the Waitomo glow worm cave and to the Rotorua geothermal park. Our guide was Nancy and she made the all day trip an absolute blast. I could not have expected a better experience. It was a must-do trip. I hope you do this tour and have her as your guide. It will be unforgettable!

5.00We really enjoyed the tour with guide Gab and driver Chris. They were so kind and we could proceed our tour smoothly because of them. Additionally, we could luckily see geysering and kiwi bird closely.
