This tour is usually done via one of our vessels but if the vessel is not available or heavy seas or the minimum number of persons were not fulfilled for the boat trip, the tour will be performed by comfortable van to all the sites mentioned above.

What To Expect
Snorkel the World famous Champagne Reef Volcano just off the coast of Pointe Mitchel in the pristine clean and clear waters of the Caribbean. Swim in venting thermal bubbles and experience the amazing volcano bathes of Soufriere and Scotts Head.

5.00This was one of the best tours I've done in a very long time. First off - communication with this group was excellent. They made sure we had all the details and made sure we knew exactly where to meet them, how to contact them, and what to expect. Secondly - convenience. This tour left right from the pier. We got off our ship, checked in, and then got on the boat for the excursion. Third - great fun. We were very lucky, we saw a pod of dolphins frolicking in the water. The captain slowed down and circled so that we could take pictures and enjoy the moment. When we went snorkling, he was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the marine life. We saw eels and a ray! Took us through the "champagne" bubble area. At the second site, we were able to just snorkel on our own, very enjoyable. Then they took us to a natural "hot tub" and we were able to enjoy it. The sailing was great, Tiffany, our guide, was a delight - would do this trip again! 10/10

5.00Fantastic guides, great captain (not too bouncy for those of us with bad backs) and great circle experience. Seen the bubbles at Champagne. Reef was better than expected. Very cool that it’s the volcano letting off “steam”. Also really nice seeing the coral and fish.

5.00Tiffany was fantastic about staying in touch to keep us informed. Mikael & Lee were the BEST tour guides. Just 4 in our party so was like a private tour! Snorkeled in the gorgeous Champagne Bay In Dominica and 2 others. Mikael dove down and pointed things out then came up and told us all about them. Shared about the history of their country, the people and movie film locations. Would very highly recommend this tour and Waitukubuli Adventure Tour Company. We will definitely use them again when we return to Dominica! This was only my 2nd day ever being in ocean water and 2nd day ever trying to snorkel. Mikael was very helpful watching out for me and pulling me on his life ring when I was too tired and needed a break.

5.00Booked last minute (night before cruise ship arrived to Dominica). Tiffany met me and my sister at the dock. She was very well organized and professional. Captain Jeff and Masai (spell?) were great! Took the tour in mid-October, shoulder season, so it was only 4 of us on the boat - so it almost felt like a private snorkeling excursion. They helped us see sea turtles, champagne reef, Scotts head, sunken cannon. Dominica is stunningly beautiful. Also spent about 30-45 min at bubble beach. Bubble beach isn’t fancy and didn’t have the resort feel that some tourist might want. But it was relaxing and the water really was warm. We did have to tip the bubble beach owner/operator a little bit to be there and use the chairs. We did $10 total and he was fine with that. I’d definitely recommend this excursion!

5.00We booked the afternoon departure in late September (low season) and were the only guests! I was afraid they would cancel but no, just incredible service! Tiffany met us at the scheduled time to make sure the boat and crew were set. Captain Jeff and Captain Mikael (sorry for the spelling) were wonderful hosts pointing out shoreline spots on the ride to Champagne Reef. Mikael got in the water with us and dove down to point out beautiful sea creatures, the bubbles from the thermal vents, and colonial cannons. Next boated on toward Scott's Head. Saw where the Carribean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean. It was a bit rough so we steered into a cove and snorkeled again. We ended by docking and walking to nearby Bubble Beach for a small donation to the private owner. The bath was torn up a bit by weather, but the warm water still came up in the shallows. Snorkel gear was top notch as was the boat, Tiffany's Rum Punch and other refreshments. Bring water shoes, a towel, some cash, and SPF.

5.00Captain Jeff” was the best tour guide EVER. Best snorkeling excursion too. What a fun day in Dominica…we did a cruise and he picked us up and dropped us off at the ship. BEST DAY/EXCURSION EVER. Snorkel excursion with 2 other couples we’d never met but had a blast with. Small, intimate excursion with “Captain Jeff” and wish could remember his partners name, was so awesome. He got into the water with us at Champagne Reef and called out all the fishes and pointed to everything under us. He made sure we felt the different water temperatures of the “champage bubbles”. We got into the water and his partner took the boat down current so we didn’t have to swim and fight against the ocean current to get back in the boat. FIRST SNORKEL TOUR TO EVER DO THIS. You are not tired from fighting currents to get back to boat. Wish everyone did this. Then he allowed the 3 couples to decide what we wanted to do. We all 100% agreed to the “bubble beach spa” where the volcanic activity creates a hot tub in the ocean. Unbelievable. Great tour. Great tour operator. 1000% recommend this. This is me asking..not the tour. Please bring enough money to treat them right with gratuity. Wish we had more cash on us…everyone emptied thier wallets to makes sure we showed our appreciation.
