Our walking food tour in Ghent is unique because we offer a combination of sightseeing in and outside the city centre and some good food and drink tasters. These tasters are traditional Ghent and Belgian specialities, but also include some international dishes. After all, Ghent is multicultural, which also reflects in the city's eateries, created by people who also made Ghent their home.
We support local, small businesses and get you in touch with the locals who are happy to share their story as well.
This tour shall include all your senses. See the sights and the food, feel and smell the food before you eat it and listen to your guide's stories. Our groups are small to keep it safe and to give you the best possible experience.

5.00Sophie was absolutely amazing as our guide. We loved the city and loved the tour. She went above and beyond to make sure our 3 kids were comfortable and having a good time at every stop of the tour. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and really knew her stuff. You could tell she loves what she does, and it made the whole experience even better. She even ensured each stop had a gluten free AND vegetarian accommodation.

5.00Sophie was such a wonderful, passionate, and kind host for this tour. I was the only one that had booked that time and date, but she still went ahead and gave me a personal food tour! She also was able to cater all the food items to my dietary needs, as I need to eat a gluten free diet. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this tour and about my guide, and the business owner, Sophie. Highly recommend!

5.00What a tour, a great way to experience the city while enjoying local food tastings along the way. Start the trip on an empty stomach, you will be sampling many delicious foods throughout the day. I appreciated the knowledge of the guide and selection of foods.

5.00I was so pleased to find this food and history tour in Ghent. I was the only person on the tour that day, so was very happy they allowed the tour to go with just me. My guide, Sophe, was absolutely wonderful. She told me a little history about each cafe and the food, and between the food stops, she gave me interesting facts about other things in Ghent. With 5 stops for food, I was stuffed by the end of the tour! Sophe even took some pictures of me on the tour and sent them to me; this was really nice because as a solo traveler, I don't always get too many pictures of myself. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience in Ghent.
