I joined because I wanted to experience something in Hakone Yumoto on a day trip. It was my first time making washi, but it was surprisingly easy and I was able to make it well. The staff was kind to me and I was able to enjoy it by myself. I would like to experience a different plan when I stop by Hakone Yumoto again.

I made a reservation when a friend's family came to visit from overseas. It was a fun and satisfying time for children and adults alike, with handprints, colors and flowers. The staff were kind and pleased. I was able to take home my own original washi paper that day, and it was a lovely memory for my friends of my trip to Japan.

I think it's a great place to not only see Japanese culture, but also experience it and take it home. From the elderly to children, you can enjoy the experience regardless of your physical burden, and it is reasonably enjoyable. This is an activity that gives shape to memories.

It was predicted to rain, so I rescheduled my trip to find a place to play indoors and went to this washi experience. It was fun to think about the design and I made a travel memorabilia. I'm going to try using it framed or wrapped in aromatic candles. Next, I'd like to make colored paper!

I had the opportunity to experience it as a family. It was my first time to try making washi, but the kids said they really enjoyed it and wanted to do it again. It was hard to tell the entrance, but the interior was beautiful and the staff brother was nice. I recommend it.

I booked in advance and was able to get right into the experience. In addition, they were flexible in changing the number of people. They were kind enough to teach me how to do it, and they had all the height-adjusting chairs for the kids, and the kids were really having fun. You can make your own washi paper from various kinds, so it will be a summer homework. I think it will be a fun memory to go with your kids or to be alone.

It was the first time I tried making it in a washi hermitage, at first I couldn't do it as much as I wanted, and the staff told me that I could do it differently when it dried, and it was fun, I had time. When I came to Hakone again, I wanted to try it.

English Review This was one of the most meaningful experiences during our time in Hakone. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, allowing us to truly focus on the traditional art of Japanese papermaking. The instructor was kind, patient, and explained each step clearly, making it easy even for beginners. Creating my own handmade washi paper was a special moment and a wonderful memory to take home. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful cultural activity in Hakone.

It was a valuable experience to learn how Japanese traditional washi is made with children!️ The staff were very kind and polite explanation and easy to understand 👏 I also made handprints and thought it would be good as a record of my growth such as my child's birthday 😌

It's been a while since I've had a day off, so I went to Hakone with my kids. I participated in the papermaking experience as the first event of the Hakone Petit trip, close to Hakone Yumoto Station. I thought about papermaking very easily, but it made me realize that there is history in the depths. It was an easy experience, and it was a valuable time for children. It was also during the open special price period, so it was a great experience for me at a reasonable price. I'm going to Owakuya with the leftover money! Thank you very much for your kind guidance, store manager!
